  6. I love it. People bitching about immigrants with free degrees coming here and competing. By the way a lot of them went to grad schools here for free too, me included.

Is that a problem with their education system or yours? Indulge in a little global education arbitrage. You kids don't have to grow up here.

This is just like people back there complaining about unfair dumping of consumer goods and agricultural protectionism. Lookup how countries used to be forced to buy opium after loosing wars.

Our job is to work around impediments, not to complain about them. There are so many things that are inherently unfair its not funny.

DJ ToolBox is a punk bitch. He was a punk bitch before he changed his handle and he's a punk bitch now. But the worst part is that now he tries to pretend that he knows that world...South Texas. LOL!!

    He's a natty gas salesman...

I can't wait for his next post when he's squealing for his mommy Ayn.

    I own that world.

  9. Here are the statements to prove it. I don’t know what else you want, but there is no way you’re getting a full coverage plan for $100. If those quotes even true, they are like tire ads for $25. You go there and ask for the $25 tires and of course they are always out of them. Or your car needs different ones because of course it’s a specialized car, even though it’s a Camry. When it’s all said and done, somehow you still end up paying $75 a tire.

I do like it that you attempted to give give a real life solution, but you left out a couple of things. First off, Maryland income taxes are I think 5-6% after the first $5-6000. So you can add another $1000 for every 25k in income. The transportation costs of $200 is actually a median price I gave between public transportation and a car. A car costs much more. My car insurance alone is about $120, and trust me that’s cheap. I spent more than 3k in repairs last year, but I drove it for my job, so it’s understandable. You also left out any savings and/or college or business ventures so that somebody making $10 an hour can someday get a better job.

But most of all you forgot about Murphy showing up. And of course he’s going to show up at the worst time possible. Good try though.

  10. Your response is very typical to what I get around here. Most people end up conceding my points, but delegitimize them because I’m young or don’t have a real job or college degree etc. You disagree with what I say, but can hardly prove my points wrong. In fact you agreed with exactly what I said about outsourcing taking money away from Americans who would have used that money in our economy. I never said immigrants don’t spend money here, I said they send money back to their countries and at the same time use up our social services that we pay for.

However I am curios to know how your daughter is able to attend school full time and pay her bills while just working part time. I am considering going back to college and am trying to figure out how to manage everything. I’m 24 now, so my parents are off my FAFSA application, so I actually should qualify for some financial aid. Let me know. Thanks
