You said what I was thinking or he is paying $5/rt. That would be generous, with his account size, should be $10.
I assume something in your life experience has led you to believe that projecting an aura of self-confidence, bordering on invincibility, is an important part of success. In some pursuits, that's probably true. On the other hands, the markets really don't care about your false bravado. And yes, talking about your "last barrier" from success is absolutely false bravado. The market will chew up your next check exactly the same way it's chewed up all of your previous savings.
I'm gonna just assume since you're all trader, that you all can calculate the commission which is $5/rt. I'm lazy and it's not my fault RCG doesn't do that. Sorry.
jinxu, you should post your trades in real-time so that I can take the reverse. I mean, I know you know that you know that the market will go your way and I know you know that you know everything there is to know about what the market is going to do next. When you're ready to listen, let me know. Actually, in fact, when you're ready to listen, just reread this entire thread. Reading your last p/l post proves to me that you don't know anything. It's fine if you're testing things in real-time with real money, but don't come in here acting like you know everything. Maybe the first time it was just a drawdown. Now it's just ignorance. If you want to give away your money, I'll take it. I won't even charge you a commission. I'll take it for free. As far as I'm concerned, I'm done posting in this thread and trying to help you via PM because I realize helping you isn't worth my time. I'm not going to sit here and bang my head against a wall when I have my own trading to do. This has merely become a big distraction. [in before jinxu's reply that he knows me than I do]
I'm sorry to hear that. I'll miss you. I don't know what you're talking about here. I've made no such claims. I don't mind you expressing your opinion, but don't make lies about me.
You didn't explicitly state that, but your replies clearly show that you aren't going to bother yourself with anything other than pushing the buy and sell buttons. Your reply to me telling you about how I have trouble taking my own trades causes you to hesitate taking my advice is insane. I knew you would have that sort of reaction so I made sure to explain that it had nothing to do with the signals. I am giving you advice because I've made every mistake out there. I know what I need to work on. It's easy to tell someone what they need to work on. Just because I can't take my own advice doesn't mean that advice isn't valid. My uncle told me once, "Experience is learning from your own mistakes, wisdom is learning from someone else's." Interpret that as you choose because only you can choose to understand it. My newest problem is being distracted with the internet when I should be completely focused on the charts. I missed a signal already from screwing around with looking at stuff.
Ain't that the truth for a discretionary trader (someone that doesn't use an automated or mechanical system). Backtest results shows the best case scenario, simulator shows illusion and real trading with real money is a slap in the face especially when you need to input discipline, emotions and personal stuff. You've mentioned several times about the problems of having a small account along with stating its the "main barrier" or "main reason" that prevents you from bigger profits. If you truly believe such (it makes sense to me)...why not wait until you're properly capitalized instead this continuing (multiple times) of refunding with a small under-capitalized account. In fact, a bet if you sat down and calculated all the times you've "refunded" your account after each blow up you would have LESS of a barrier... Resulting in LESS trade problems. I'm sure you've thought about such and I'm sure you've find another way to refund your account after you've gone through worker's compensation. Anyways, if you ever get to the point that you start thinking about heading down to the local pawn shop, garage sells or just selling your belongings to raise more cash for trading...that's when you'll know it's an addiction implying you have a serious problem that's not related to trading. Hopefully, you'll never reach that point. Mark
Why do you all keep posting in this thread? All you are doing is feeding into his ego. He has no intention of listening to anyone here. This journal and his plotter are just to prove to the world that he "can do it and screw all of you!" So far, tho, he has yet to achieve that. This mook is not worth the effort guys.
jinxu I poured thousands into my account(s) trying to figure out how to trade just like you. But that was before everyone had access to chat rooms, blogs, cell phones and $1000.oo trading accounts. I was sitting at home alone with a few books calling in my trades on the phone and waiting for my broker to call me back to tell me if I was filled or not. No sim trading in those days, except with pencil and paper. You remind me of a car crash victim wondering around on the side of the road with a gash on his head and blood dripping off his nose. And when each Good Samaritan asks if they can help or offers a handi wipe he yells out I'm Okay. I took the liberty to post my expected reply. <*)))><
You just sound suicidal. I'm afraid in this state of mind You cannot be helped by anyone on this site. You have deeper issues that need addressing. You actually want to fail. This is, strangely, not perverse given the nature of life and this business. BUT you may end up losing EVERYTHING. Trading a conservative little strategy for 3 hours a day could give you a very nice little life but you are not willing to take it. You WANT DEATH.
