I've read Carter's letter now and, unsurprisingly, our immoderator has substituted his personal feelings for the actual gist of the letter. Carter is "POed" about Mead's criticisms of his foreign policy, and responds to those, and only those. There's no mention of Obama in it, except where he quoted Mead (once).
