Perhaps you would be better served by getting your information somewhere else. I would suggest Soros himself as a reliable source. In any case, what is your point?

as with warren buffett (spelling) you can not believe a word of what soros is saying. Its mostly mis information.

He says he opposed communism and now he opposes the idea of laissez fair capitalism.

While buffett at least seems to like america and what it stands for ... Soros hates america and the way its society is set up.

Soros is a refugee from socialism who advocates "open society"... which in the end seems to be saying that people can not govern themselves if they support the market. They must be controlled.

I believe soros supports the idea that an "enlightened" world govt should dictate freedoms to the world.

  4. I like Warren Buffet, and I like Omaha, and I like the house he lives in in Omaha, seems nice and simple to me. But when I hear him interviewed, he seems like the most immoral person that has ever lived on the face of the earth. KO routinely executed any of their workers who tried to unionize in Columbia, and I mean killed, dead, shot through the heart. But I guess that is not his concern.

Believe me, I am no fan of the lies buffett puts out either.

Basically Buffett works for the FED... Soros works for someone else.

  6. important to differentiate skill from philosophy. Both have proven themselves to be very lucky or skilled. Just because I make a lot of money doesn't mean I am smart.

I've noticed all of them, Soros, Buffet and Rogers all seem to have an inability to talk honestly about their book, and never against it and always for it, regardless of the facts.

Maybe that is a trait of a winner.

  7. the most pathetic thing is, Warren Buffets son, who he has named to be the next CEO of Berkshire, has a very good understanding of sustainable agriculture, yet his own father has given his money to Bill Gates who doesn't have a clue and whose ideas will just reap much more misery on the world that his own son is fighting against.

Well thought out points/gems as usual ,Jem:D

Actually Mr Soros perhaps hates FOX news & conservative politics.
Not sure he hates conservatives , but seems to hate conservative politics.Note the difference.

Dont really care for Mr Soros politics[FOX news put the WARNING line/ WARNING label, under his picture ''FAR LEFT billionaire''.LOL

    But I hope he repents [changes his mind/his motion]before it is too late for him;
but i love his brilliant market comment ''trading is a real time expirement''.  Cool comment & useful

  9. Monsanto is to agriculture what the Fed is to money. Be nice if it would work and it does for a while at first.

Success is now defined as how long you can keep a failing system going.

I know a few things about that, since that is how I trade.

You are quite right. If anyone cared to research it they would find Rogers was saying to buy commodities as the market was plummeting. The average investor wouldn't have been able to ride out a storm like that, and he's been saying to short stocks for years -- years while stocks have done nothing but go up. Anyone who took his advice recently is dead broke.
