thanks for the notice, the interview is available as a recording: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/hardtalk/8745686.stm
Thank you. I generally agree with him but I think he contradicted himself a bit at the end. But still I think he on the right way of thinking. Anyone heard anything from Marc Faber recently.
not in the past ~ month, there is a recording from his interview from around april 18 on youtube, people post interviews of him and rogers there usually http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyqbkY7ttUo
Thanks. Faber is a good economist but he is not an innovator. He analyses future trends. He knows what is happening but cannot resolve it.
Jimmy Rodgers is one bowtie with balls. Its one thing to make eocnomic prognostications and its quite another to act on those ideas in your real life. Jimmy picked up his family and moved to Asia. He sold his U.S. domicile assets and invested in Singapore and Honk kong. He is teaching his children Mandarin and he is buying farms. You can't say that he doesn't put his money where his mouth is.
