Yeah but that's dumb. Like I said, something will truly be "fixed" when there is both preventative measures, vaccines and adjuvant options, treatments. It's ridiculous to think that just because there are vaccines, we won't need treatments. There is actually no diseases in the world that were ever eliminated by vaccines alone and that has never stopped the "gravy train" of vaccines. For pharmaceutical companies, they make money either way really whether it's vaccines or adjuvant treatments I would think.

EUA has nothing to do with it. EUA just has to do with the urgency of the situation and it's been issued for both vaccines and adjuvant treatments.

 

Then to what do you attribute the lack of alternative treatments?

 

Over-estimation in the effectiveness of vaccines and under-estimating the speed and ability of mutation of the coronavirus as well as the human stubbornness and stupidity in vaccine reluctance.

 

There are such treatments But not sufficient $$$$ in them IMO.

 

This information has been known for a LONG LONG time. So the question is then: why has it not been internalized into the politics/process?

 

Jenn "Circle Back" Psaki, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Cramer...all these self-righteous, multi-vaxxed people getting COVID. Cramer also called for universal vaxxing with the miliary enforcing it. He's beyond mad at this point. Between that and his terrible track record calling stocks, I don't know why anyone listens to him.

You call this an "uneducated understanding" but it appears to be an astute observation to me. The vaccine is indeed a therapeutic. All the political bungling, broken promises, outright lies and general bullshit have done decades of harm to actual science.

 

Because we live in a democracy. To internalize this vaccine reluctance would be to require mandatory vaccination for every single eligible adult healthy enough to receive vaccinations, a vaccination officer accompanied by military personnel coming to your door giving you vaccination. Would you want that? No.
