That's a good list,... ..and also, for someone wanting to learn to scalp on the DOM, the educational resource is a vital component and not so easily discounted.
When you say "educational resource", what does that mean? Do you pay for a trading system that they teach you like a mentoring service or do they have tools that create buy and sell signals that they sell to you. What do you get?
You get educational videos illustrating concepts that build upon each other. There are different ‘tiers’ which give access to more content. I believe they also recently started a mentoring service. I might not be the best advocate since I was familiar with DOM trading beforehand and was looking for software that provided a specific need. In my case that was to distinguish the balance of market orders in hitting the bbidask at potential trend turning points. I’m also a Mac user and perceive most windows software as clunky in comparison. The integration of jigsaw into my toolset has been slow, it’s required me to get an additional box to run Windows. I primarily trade off charts with a specific methodology that includes scanning the DOM but not as a main focus until volume & volatility pick up. Where my current interest lies is exploring jigsaw’s pricesquawk integration. I like that an your list you have a clean interface at the top and am always on the lookout for innovative solutions. ie, like what tradingview has done with manual charting. For a retail amateur who wants to understand orderflow, Jigsaw is a good place to start, regardless of how many folks use it on this forum or not. Certainly there are alternative solutions to fit an individual’s specific needs, trading is not a one size fits all domain.
For me the main reason is price: I can't afford to pay $800 per month on X_TRADER, however I can pay $500 a year on jigsaw. Aside from that I learn from someone that uses jigsaw which makes things easier. That's all.
Does that one have a column where it shows how many contracts are being pulled or added on each price?
Sorry for reviving a dead topic. I am in a dilemma whether to choose TT or Jigsaw as well. 1. Does TT work on Mac? 2. For the standard version at 50$ per month, does it have all the features or are they limited? 3. I could not find the data fees for the Osaka Securities Exchange on your website. Do you not provide those feeds? If not, can I connect another data feed to TT to get that data? I intend to trade the MJNK. Thanks!
Sorry for the delay in my response: 1: Yes. I use a Mac myself 2: TT Standard does not include the ability to create your own automation. Autospreader, Autotrader and ADL are disabled. https://www.tradingtechnologies.com/resources/pricing/ 3: We do connect to OSE. You'll need to speak with a sales rep about access fees.
