  2. It is peculiar that although there's only 5 million Jews in America, 13 of them are in the U.S. Senate. (only Norm Coleman is a Republican)

There's close to 50 million blacks in America and only one half of one Senator (Obama) is of African descent.

Statistically, on a per capita basis, a Jew is over 100 times more likely to wind up in the Senate than is a Black.

There's also 30 Jew's in the House and 29 of them are Dem's.

Unduly represented? Only if one feels Israel has been given the fiscal and military protection equal that of America itself. In that case it's certainly possible that the pro-Israel lobby as manifest by Jewish and holy-roller Christian politicians has allowed Israel to be far more of a beneficiary of American policy than deemed prudent.

Personally, I'm more for the Jew's in Israel than the agnostic/secular/socialist Jew's here in the states. :D

    Quote from optioncoach:

Yeah this is about a movie 67 years ago...

Forget the racist reference, tell us how 67 year old movie is relevant for ECONOMICS.

    myminitrading:

Because it references government, and the government sets economic policy.

Senators in congress, make the laws that govern this great land."

the government sets environment and legal policy you are on the wrong forum.logic 101 and kindergarten should be a
    prerequisite for posting.

you also have just insulted the house of representatives by only mentioning senators as lawmakers/lawbreakers.
