i say this because he certainly didn't create the universe. lol what's amazing is that so many people will disagree with me, but what i say is ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!
Please provide a link to someone besides yourself who mentions the idea that Jesus Christ created the Universe.
IF he existed at all ! Read & learn the TRUTH about Jesus! "Jesus is a myth just like all the other saviors and gods of old. Atheism is the clear and rational alternative to the confusion, fear, and superstition that are offered by religion. Atheism encourages freedom of thought and inquiry, while religion by its very nature has to encourage unquestioning obedience and blind faith in doctrines. Belief in god myths has brought misery, suppression of thought and inquiry, fear, and has promoted ignorance. The human race no longer needs these myths of old. Just as little children grow up and learn the truth about the existence of the tooth fairy, the human race needs to mature and learn the truth about the existence of god." dare learn the truth :-/
"Jesus is a myth just like all the other saviors and gods of old." Since Jesus did exist historically as accepted by the majority of historians, he is not a myth. "Atheism is the clear and rational alternative to the confusion, fear, and superstition that are offered by religion. Atheism encourages freedom of thought and inquiry, while religion by its very nature has to encourage unquestioning obedience and blind faith in doctrines." Freedom of thought would include allowance for belief systems in areas where there is no proof that the belief is false. Belief in god myths has brought misery, suppression of thought and inquiry, fear, and has promoted ignorance. Belief in political ideologies has brought misery, suppression of thought and inquiry, fear and has promoted ignorance. The human race no longer needs these myths of old. Just as little children grow up and learn the truth about the existence of the tooth fairy, the human race needs to mature and learn the truth about the existence of god. Pure belief system. Who can say what the human race needs? That is pure speculation and value judgment. Pure opinion by the author of the above quote. There is no "truth" of the non existence of God.
ok, you tell me....what did he do then??! you worship him because?????????????? p. s. don't tell me jesus claimed he is not "god." YES, HE DID. get your own religion straight (it's a big mess, i know).
First provide evidence that I am a Christian. You make a claim without proof. You may believe what you like, but where is your proof? Secondly, you say he is a myth, yet at the same time you make claims of what he said and argue against them? Which is it? Is he a myth and the statements attributed to him are mythical, or did he say that he was in fact God? And if he did exist, provide proof that he did in fact say that he was God. If he did say he was one with God that statement is not the same as saying "I am God." A drop of water is one with the ocean, but is still a drop. I have seen a happily married couple say "we think and act as one." That doesn't mean they are one person. It is one thing to say that what people have written about Jesus is wrong or false, it is quite another to say that Jesus himself said what people claim he said is true or false. The truth is I don't know what he said, nor do you. I wasn't there, neither were you, and we have no recordings. What we have is text that has been translated multiple times from claimed eyewitness accounts and altered by different churches with different agendas. I can agree with you that religions can be distortions of what Saints have said, that is human nature. You yourself distort things to advance your cause and to propagate your belief systems. However, that distortion would be the work of man, not the work of God nor His Saints.
two types of insane people 1. The stupid kind that wander streets, roll in poo, and talk with themselves. 2. The intelligent kind that are smart enough to convince everyone around them that their ideas are real. Once these ideas are received they become poets, moguls, innovators of every kind. Apparently Jesus wan an egocentric poet. He had such passion and intelligence that the people of the sea monster age were easily duped. Though he probably believed everything he preached, and the peoples' belief in him only fueled his passion (reassurance) spurring him to new heights of godliness, Jesus was a highly intelligent lunatic. One's ideas are only delusional if they never come to fruition. Insanity is an opinion because yes and no, 1+1=2 is an opinion. Because no person can know for certain, because no one can calculate every possibility throughout the time of the universe.
GG, by the very fact that you admit there was a man named Jesus, you are admitting to believing in the bible. Either the bible is accurate or it is not. If you think there was a man named Jesus, you are getting this from a book that you claim is false. Interesting contradiction.
