Here is the problem. The KKK was founded by Democrats opposing the Radical Republicans in the south during reconstruction.

You're right, but guess what, the far right doesn't vote and the far left does. There's your difference in whose opinion really shapes policy. Now I suppose we could get in to some great debate about defining far right and far left, but I'd bet a good buck that those Klan members and skin heads aren't voting in anywhere near the percentages that the radical left votes.

 

Many of today's leftists are very violent. The G20 meeting in Toronto is a good example or their violent ways.
