Three days between upper and lower? So six days before you hit the same muscle groups again? The gentleman doth protest too much.
No, it's more like 4 days or so. This week, Monday I'll do upper, Tuesday lower, and then Saturday it's upper again. Thursday I'll beat on the heavy bag. Depending on how bored I am, on occasion I'll throw is some isolation arm and trap work on the off days. No rhyme or reason to it, and nothing too heavy, more reps than heavy. Just something to do, like every other week, but not really scheduled. Past few months I have really been practicing more kitchen discipline. Dropped from 225 last summer, weighed in at 208 Jan. 1. I'm as lean as I've been since my 20's. No real set goal in mind, just see where it goes. At 6'4" I'm not looking to go much lower. Lots of sardines and salmon, not much red meat at all, and no junk food which had always been my nemesis.
I know, ain't that some shit. What is really discouraging is that 208 on my 69 year old body does not look like 208 at 25.
