But we can't say that no one is interested in her, because we know that GWB has a cardboard cut-out of her in his bedroom. So there is that.
You still trying to squeeze that cardboard cut-out of Sara Huckabee into your basement-bedroom? I heard she’s on Ozempic now. So there is that.
The blatantly racist move firing "open minded" Joy has jumped from the cable news prime-time war's frying pan to the fire. Ratings are down the tube on Peppermint Patty. Bring back Rachel for another 100 days! At least she's 1/2 way entertaining. Right @Monobrowtrading?
Jen Psaki Humiliated As Her New Show Drags Down MSNBC’s Already-Sagging Ratings https://trendingpoliticsnews.com/ne...gs-down-msnbcs-already-sagging-ratings-micca/ Just weeks after MSNBC debuted its brand new primetime lineup in an attempt to salvage plummeting viewership, audiences made clear their feelings about the direction, and it’s not positive for the network. Over the course of May, the outlet has tumbled 41 percent in viewership among the key demographic. And that’s not the only area MSNBC has taken a serious hit. They also dropped 34 percent in the total day demo compared to where they were a year ago. One of the company’s hosts hardest hit was former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who, on May 5, was given Rachel Maddow’s 9 pm slot from Tuesday to Friday. Maddow, who has always been a significant draw for MSNBC, said she believed Psaki would surpass her success. Maddow came back briefly to cover the first 100 days of President Donald Trump’s second term, but now only anchors on Mondays.
Fox News averaged 1.6 million total day viewers compared to 545,000 for MSNBC and 353,000 for CNN. Fox News' total day viewers grew 21% since May 2024 while MSNBC was down 33% and CNN shed 24% of its audience. During primetime, Fox News averaged around 2.5 million total viewers compared to 877,000 for MSNBC and only 426,000 for CNN. More Democrats, Independents and Republicans tuned in to FNC over any other cable network across total day, according to data from Nielsen MRI Fusion.
Go figure. MSNBC needs to up the ante and secure Maddow for another 100 days at least. If they want to keep treading water that is. Or hire Tucker. Now that would boost ratings. Why not drop $10M, or whatever the two of them would cost for a month or two, air a 9PM show with both of them expressing both's views... and see what happens. I already know what would happen... it would set viewership records nightly. Too bad Comcast isn't that smart.
