And yet, it has been an atypically close contest in a year which should be a home run for reps. Maybe reps are even less popular than dems (and Obama). Let's look to the polling data... ; )
They are less popular, but only in national polling data. When you look at the individual races, they have the edge. But you're right, it should be a helluva lot more apparent. Who knows what the actual results will be - it could still be a big win come the first week of Nov. One thing is sure, though: The Jem Algo doesn't know any better than we do.
No, criticism on Odumbocare isn't falling flat. It's just that it falls on deaf ears. Odumbo tries to continue to tell people at his 'rallys' that it's working. If so, then why are premiums significantly higher than in the past? Where is the $2500 reduction in premiums for a family? Why are people seeing 100 - 200% premium increases for inferior coverage? Why are peoples deductible going even higher than they used to pay? Bottom line is Odumbo is doing all he can to further damage the country. But what do you expect from someone who never held a real job and was a community organizer?
The ACA has had a disproportinate effect on you, we knew it would for some, but the criticisms are falling on deaf ears because for the majority (which your case does not represent) premiums are rising no faster (apparently slower) than they did before, and the type of coverage they get is no worse.
Actually that's not true. Plenty of people are being tossed off their employer plans. And next question is WHY employer plans do not need to replicate the Odumbo mandated plan? And WHY are 2015 premiums not being released until AFTER mid term elections? Last, if the subsidies are ruled to be illegal then we have a massive problem with those 90% receiving subsidies no longer being able to afford their plans. Any competent person, of which I feel Odumbo is not, would have merely reformed existing health insurance and made it required that all people could get insurance. Forcing people to lose plans and buy a POS policy is not the answer. And more will realize that over time ....
There is no "plenty". 90%+ of employees are covered by group plans that are compliant. Which answers your second question.
if we see a swing of 7 to 8 seats and Rs gain control of the senate that is a crushing rejection of obama and his leftist policies. the R leadership clearly took the position that is better to say nothing rather than make any sort of pledge to improve the country. that is a pretty serious statement about how bad this leftist run by the democrats has been. Its made the country prefer party Bush destroyed over the party of bullshit about obamacare and open borders.
by the way the algo is currently predicting Rs by 2 seats. However our sentiment algo just spiked and is indicating a 20% chance the democrats get Kantored. to the campaigns we offer this advice... if you wish to see your opponents Kantored... heavily run on rule of law, (follow current immigration law), seal border to protect our children from entero virus D68 and elimination of flights for ebola areas. The moms are very concerned... properly framed you can crush pro amnesty democrats by caring about their children... and showing how irresponsible it would be to send someone to congress who will rubber stamp obama's......War on American children.
Actually we are about to approach open enrollment in corporations for 2015 medical plans for corporations - this is the first year that the mandates of Obamacare hit corporate plans - and a large portions of America's workforce is about to be furious. The key problem is that a large portion of upper middle class employees (including IT workers) are on 100% plans that have been deemed to be "Cadillac" plans. Many employees have been on these corporate plans for 20 years or more with their families. Due to Obamacare many of these plans are being discontinued by Insurance companies. Where I work our insurance provider, BCBS, will no longer offer a 100% EPO plan for 2015. Everyone needs to move to the 80% plan (at higher cost). So basically in 2015, I will be paying more out of pocket each month for less coverage, higher co-pays, and deductibles before services are covered. The total monthly cost has also increased for my employer. For some reason most corporations have moved open enrollment from the normal mid-October to being after election day in early November due to pressure from insurance companies. Wonder why? Is it because this is the first year that the employees of corporate America are going to realize how badly they have been screwed by Obamacare? Bingo!
Uhh, actually many plans are not compliant. And Odumbo has delayed any penalties on those companies until 2015 ... surprise, surprise ... after elections. Although the employer mandate penalties of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) have been delayed until 2015, many other pieces of the ACA take effect this year, in 2014. For example, the prohibition on pre-existing condition exclusions, the out-of-pocket limits, and the prohibition on annual or lifetime limits for essential health benefits are all effective for group health plans beginning on or after January 1, 2014. What happens if your employer-sponsored group health plan renews on or after January 1, 2014, but the plan that is being renewed is not compliant with healthcare reform?
