  1. No deal, I was in the stack on the bid at 1084.75 but no fill. That's a few times today that I've missed the good turn because I've been stuck in the stack. When I get a good opportunity like that I really just need to take the 85's and pay a tick to get into the trade.

  2. look forward to reading your posts tomorrow.
i am quitting whilst i am...well, not ahead, but better than it could be, just out of sync right now.
good luck with those fills (or, like you say, market orders, perhaps better). i am always trying to add liquidity to get those rebates so can't do market orders. i think it must be a little bit easier to get in as we have a little more wiggle, each tick for you being 2.5 ticks for me so must make a diff.
here's hoping it breaks out and you catch that last HUGE 30 minute move:D

  3. Not quick enough to get filled on any trades in the last half hour here. I'll review tonight but I think I missed at least 6 trades due to not getting filled so it might just be worth it to pay that spread and get in. I'll do more analysis later on tonight but filled on 3 trades, +11 ticks in ES and +10 ticks in NQ.

  4. Quick recap of the three trades today:

    Trade #1 - Long NQ @ 1782.75 @ 10:20est

Perfect entry according to my rules and just two ticks off the low. Exit was at 1785.25 which was slightly premature since my exit rules should have had me out slightly higher around 1787.

    Trade #2 - Long ES @ 1088.75 @ 11:38est

Another good entry according to my rules, one tick off the swing low there. This was a tough one to exit and I don't really feel all that badly about just taking 3 ticks. When it bounced I had wanted to see it run through 1090 to feel good about my position and when it failed to I bailed.

    Trade #3 - Short ES @ 1090.75 @ 2:15est

Perfect entry according to my rules, one tick off the high of the move. It was also a good exit by my rules, although I did trade it a little bit tight, but 8 ticks isn't a bad trade.

It was definitely an improvement over yesterday for me. I felt like I got a little sloppy in my entries yesterday and I tried to tighten that up today. A couple things I need to work on are not trying to get the exact best price when I see a short or long opportunity. I missed more trades than I took because I was sitting on the bid or offer and never got filled. The other thing I need to work on are always taking the proper exit. I have no problem following my entry strategy but my exit strategy seems to be mentally tougher. All things to work on tomorrow.

  6. Cover @ 1087.75 for +6 ticks

Yikes, got out a bit too early. I was a little hesitant when we didn't break 1088.25.

  9. It's really slowed down here as we've gotten into a 3pt range here in the last hour and a half. Not too many trades for me so far today.
