The Epstein list is coming out soon... we can find out who he was pimping the underage girls to. Jeffrey Epstein docs with names of associates to be made public: report The documents are expected to contain the names of Prince Andrew and other associates https://www.foxnews.com/us/jeffrey-epstein-docs-names-associates-made-public The last batch of documents with the names of those associated with deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein will be unsealed in the near future, according to media reports. The Daily Mail reported that the material is expected to be made public in the coming months, nearly four years after Epstein took his own life while incarcerated in a New York federal correctional facility. The documents are expected to contain the names of associates, victims, and employees connected to Epstein. They refer to "alleged perpetrators" or those accused of "serious wrongdoing" as well as law enforcement officers and prosecutors. Epstein was associated and friends with many public figures, including Bill Gates and former presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton. It was not clear if those names will be mentioned in the material. Prince Andrew who is accused of having sex with Epstein victim Virginia Roberts, now Virginia Giuffre, underage, and attorney Alan Dershowitz, are understood to be among the individuals mentioned in the papers, according to the Daily Mail report. The documents have been sealed since Epstein killed himself in 2019 and were used in a defamation case brought by Roberts in 2015 against Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking and recruiting minors for Epstein. The lawsuit was settled and the materials have been gradually released since. Some of the people slated to be identified include John Doe 5, a victim who gave evidence at Maxwell's trial using only her first name, the report said. Another is an assistant district attorney. Another is described as a "public figure" by Maxwell's lawyers who objected to the name becoming public. John Doe 23 is deceased but was accused of "serious wrongdoing", the documents state, according to the Daily Mail. They are not identified by name.
Judge rules banks can be sued for profiting from Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking scheme https://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2023/03/20/jpmorgan-chase-bank-lawsuit-epstein/2141679347745/ A Manhattan district judge ruled Monday that JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank can be sued for profiting from Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking scheme. Judge Jed Rakoff said that victims of Epstein and the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands can sue the international banking company JPMorgan Chase because it knowingly profited and participated in Epstein's crimes, CNBC reports. Rakoff reportedly reached the decision after JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank sought to have three lawsuits dismissed. While Rakoff agreed to dismiss some charges, he determined that other charges will stand and each lawsuit can move forward. "As we have alleged, Epstein's sex trafficking operation was impossible without the assistance of JPMorgan Chase, and later Deutsche Bank, and we assure the public that we will leave no stone unturned in our quest for justice for the many victims who deserved better from one of America's largest financial institutions," Attorney Bradley Edwards said, according to Law & Crime. Epstein, the late billionaire who was arrested on sex trafficking charges, died by suicide while in federal prison. In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage prostitute in Florida. According to CNBC, he was a JPMorgan client from 1998 to 2013, five years after Epstein's guilty plea. Deutsche Bank then took Epstein on as a client in 2013. He remained with the bank as even more allegations of sex trafficking came to light. Rakoff will not only allow the lawsuits to move forward on grounds of JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche profiting from Epstein's activities. Prosecutors may also attempt to prove that the banks participated in helping Epstein evade law enforcement, Law & Crime says. The banks are accused of turning a blind eye to Epstein's activities and obstructed enforcement of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act.
Ahhh. Shysters just trying to find a way to sue the deepest of the deep pockets. Nothing new there. Then the banks settle just to cut the bad publicity.
IMO what is interesting in this case is that the judge ruled that the banks were not protected and could be sued. This opens the door in the future for many other similar cases holding banks liable. Of course, the "shysters just trying to find a way to sue the deepest of the deep pockets". This is nothing new (as you mentioned). I think the banks will not settle (because of the bad precedent) and appeal this case.
It's extremely complicated. I guess I could concede that the JP Morgan has some liability (to be determined at trial) based on the actions of a particular individual versus "as a bank or just because Epstein was doing business there." So I might qualify my previous statement a bit. But the case does not represent an opening of banks to liability kind of precedent just for moving money. The banks had specific alleged bad actors. Barclays Bank had a shit bum pervert involved with Epstein. A very, very high level guy. Subsequently, JP Morgan hired him. So plaintiffs allege that Jamie Dimon must have had knowledge that must have knowledge that the guy was pervert trafficker and so was Epstein. You have to prove that at trial. To make things complicated-er and complicated-er, JP Morgan is suing the guy they hired from Barclays (who probably was involved with Epstein) for the 80 million they paid him before he was canned or quit. They say he is liable for the lawsuits and bad publicity that have descended upon the bank. Interesting too, is that as I recall, it was the government of the territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands that was the plaintiff, somehow to protect or recover for damages to its citizens or reputation or something. Oy.
Well... "Snitches get Stitches". Or in the case of her boyfriend, Jeffrey, a personalized Clinton solution. Ghislaine Maxwell fears retaliation in prison after snitching on two violent inmates: report https://nypost.com/2023/05/31/ghislaine-maxwell-fears-retaliation-after-snitching-on-2-inmates/
Ghislaine has a new title - "Prison Karen". Ghislaine Maxwell has filed so many complaints she's been dubbed 'prison Karen': report https://www.rawstory.com/ghislaine-maxwell-2661992878/ Ghislaine Maxwell has reportedly been dubbed the "prison Karen" after filing more than 400 complaints to prison officials about anything from her food options to "unfair treatment" and even the lack of black hair dye, the Daily Mail reported. In some of her complaints, Maxwell was reportedly upset about the lack of vegan options on the prison menu and the fact that she has had to let her gray hair show. "Maxwell's gripes have targeted everyone from inmates and guards, to a 'rude' laundry lady at the low-security lockup where she's serving a 20-year stretch for helping Jeffrey Epstein abuse young girls," the Daily Mail's report stated. A source speaking to the Mail said Maxwell will file a complaint "over anything." "She complains about the food, the bedding, when they cancel temple because of bad weather or are late setting up her legal calls," the source said. "The latest battle is over hair dye. Maxwell hates her gray showing through and she's filed a grievance because they don't sell it anymore. When she did her video interview with British TV she paid another inmate $200 for the dye." The Mail's source claims that Maxwell's goal is to create such a headache for prison officials that they'll transfer her to a new facility: "She has too many enemies and she wants out," the Mail reported. Maxwell, who is the former girlfriend of Epstein, was sentenced to 20 years in prison in June of last year over sex trafficking charges.
Key Witness in Ghislaine Maxwell Trial Dies of 'Accidental Overdose' Sparking Investigation and Conspiracy Theories https://radaronline.com/p/key-witness-ghislaine-maxwell-trial-dies-accidental-overdose-conspiracy/ Carolyn Andriano, a crucial witness in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, has reportedly died due to an alleged accidental overdose, RadarOnline.com has learned. The 36-year-old mother-of-five was found unresponsive in a hotel room in West Palm Beach, Florida, on May 23rd. Her untimely death has raised questions and sparked an investigation by local authorities. Carolyn's testimony against sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice, Maxwell, played a pivotal role in bringing the latter to justice. She had accused Maxwell of groping her and arranging "massages" with Epstein, during which she was molested multiple times. Carolyn's bravery in coming forward shed light on the dark world of sex trafficking and the powerful individuals involved. Following her testimony, Carolyn had plans to start a new life in North Carolina with her family. Her mother, devastated by the loss, called for a continued investigation into her daughter's death. However, reports suggest that the case is nearing closure. According to the Daily Beast, although the official cause and manner of Carolyn's death are yet to be confirmed, a toxicology report revealed the presence of fentanyl, methadone, and alprazolam (generic Xanax) in her system. Adding to the complexity of the situation, a legal battle has erupted over Carolyn's will between her mother and her husband, John Pitts. The will, drafted before her marriage to Pitts, excluded him and their three children from her estate. Carolyn had received substantial settlements from Epstein-related cases, amassing millions of dollars. Carolyn's life had been marked by trauma and adversity. She testified in court about her history of childhood abuse and her first encounter with Epstein's Palm Beach mansion at the age of 14. During her first visit to the mansion, she claimed she was allowed to do as she pleased due to her mother's substance abuse issues, which led to her own addiction struggles and ultimately to her dropping out of school in 7th grade. During her testimony, Carolyn disclosed her current medications, which included methadone, an antidepressant, Xanax, and a medication for schizophrenia. She attributed her use of these medicines to her fear of her children being kidnapped, highlighting the lasting trauma she experienced. Despite being awarded around $3 million from the Epstein victim compensation fund, Carolyn expressed that no amount of money could ever heal the wounds she had endured. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, in 2022, Maxwell was found guilty and sentenced to 20 years in prison for recruiting and grooming teenage girls to be sexually abused by Epstein. Maxwell was also sentenced to five years of supervised release and a $750,000 fine, which her attorney said she is unable to pay. She is currently serving her sentence at a federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut. Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to state prostitution charges, was indicted on federal sex trafficking charges in July 2019 but died by suicide in prison a month later.
