Hard to fathom how it is even possible for Carney to be unprepared for this question.

"Why isnt Obama responsible for job losses at Solyndra, if Romney is reponsible for Bain"

Note the fact that Carney doesnt deny that 500 million dollars of gubbermint money supposedly "killed solyndra" he only claims that the president will try to find them "new jobs" :D

First video is the Romney advertisement, second is the convoluted response to the add from Carney. Is the Obama admin really this dumb?

And as a bonus for those of you who are unfamiliar here is the "Miss South Carolina" A.K.A. Obama gameplan video......

Yeah but they are probably the best 5 threads elite trader has ever seen.....

Like Vhehn, Newt Gingrich, bigarrow and the rest of the "Big thinking Free Thinkers" My mind is just so full of self proclaimed brilliance that sometimes i just have to go with it, and allow these gigantic thoughts to come out....... :D

  5. Two reasons.

Solyndra was approved for loans by the Bush administration and the same loan committee that deferred the loan during the Bush admin allowed the loan to went through during the Obama admin. Without Bush putting the company on the loan short list, they would have never got any money under stimulus.

Second, Solyndra collapsed because silicon prices plummeted and cheap Chinese imports i.e market reasons. Romney's Bain capital on the other hand would buy up companies, split them into - One company gets the assets, the other gets the obligation to workers. The first company with assets pushes the old workers out in favor for newer ones with lower wages and reduced benefits. While the shell company with the pensions goes into bankruptcy shifting costs to federal insurance programs. Romney obviously had more control over this process than a collapse due to competitive or pricing reasons.

Wrong - Solyndra was eventually rejected by the Bush admin.

    Wow.

As pspr points out, you have your facts completely wrong. The Bush Adminstration concluded that Solyndra was not a sound investment and not an appropriate use of taxpayer money.

Obama is *directly* responsible for the massive loss of taxpayer money and he has alot to answer for. The Romney campaign will be asking the appropriate questions and it will feature prominently in the debates.

Not only that, Obama's crack team of businessmen told them the exact day Solyndra would run out of money, if they got the stimulus funds.... and they were spot on.....

Probably the only accurate prediction these doofuses ever made.....

When you reconcile that with the fact that NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would pay for energy that is exponentially more expensive amidst the worst down turn since the great depression, it becomes one of the most egregious waste of tax payer funds in history......

No need to worry though cause the "Big Liberal Thinkers" like Bigarrow were on the case thinking of Gigantic ideas...... :D

  9. I hope pspr is allright , it is rare for him not to have a few threads going on page one at any one time , and recently he even stopped giving his threads stars. Maybe he's on vacation , that little . . . ..
