Something is definately NOT RIGHT. Just opened a chart & T&S window. When I went to close those windows, it hung up. It took a while and then closed. Then TWS crashed and closed itself. Rare to have that happen;\ VM usage was a ridiculous 300 meg at this time. Theres a bug somewhere.,
Did you look in the log file? Todays would be called "log.Thu.txt". If the crash was caused by some exception, it would logged to the file.
Theres quite a bit in the log. Rather than worry about it, I've upgrade to the new standalone, lets hope it fixes some of these issues. I do notice this, on opening a chart, and closing it, the VM Size (Task Manager) bumps up quite a bit each time. It is not released.
Right click on the top of the player. Go to Tools --> Options---> Performance. Then lower the video acceleration bar from full, to the medium level. Now your videos will quit blacking out in the middle. Problem solved.
