    Smart ass :D

    On a serious note

    Trades 1 & 2 are in the same range

    Trade 2 – if you look at the PA surrounding it – it was reflecting a reluctance to go up/ break this zone – iow it was not supporting your long thesis – yet

    As for having 2 separate targets

    Use a modified version of the trade plan

    1.) Signal / Entry
    2.) Initial Stop loss signal / Stop loss price
    3.) Target / Method of managing trade – Second target / Secondary method of managing trade

    Which btw – I have a bone to pick regarding each trade's plan

    You’re haven't been utilizing the plans to their fullest

    Entries and stops are fine… what is lacking…, is clear method of how you’ll manage each trade through to the target (maybe using a trailing stop is one of your options??)

    ================

    Anyway

    That you’re able to make the comments you did / ask the questions of yourself – You are focusing on important aspects :)

    Further…, I don’t see impatience – trading for the sake of trading – and racking up numbers

    And Trade 3 - Golden

    Good Job

    ============================

    So..., Carnac the Magnificent– what am I thinking now (as I hand you the envelope) :p

    I’m humbled you think enough of what I post to solicit my advice

    Unfortunately…, and as I already stated in your PM – I haven't the bandwidth

    But it not only that

    I do not wish to assume a role of mentor

    Nor do I wish to expose myself to the potential elevated ego / notoriety that could impart

    Rather I simply wish to remain that which I am – a trader

    So…, not wanting to set false expectation.., or begin something I haven’t the capacity of seeing through

    I say this to you straight up Sir – I can’t do it.., nor do I wish to

    RN: Thanks a lot for your prompt response and being very direct. I apologize if i made you think i am asking you to coach me. I am not quite sure what you are really trying to tell me; probably my intelligence is very low. I wish you had just ignored my post or simply told me that you did not have time to comment the trades of yesterday ( in my post i wrote " if you could have time"). No matter what, i am very grateful for your have been generously answering my questions with so much details and what i have learned from the wisdom you have shared in your posts. Wish you and your family a great weekend!

    We take a break from the journal to bring you for your amazement, for your enlightenment, for your small bills and change (available for bachelorette parties and bar Mitzvahs) the one and only Carnac the Magnificent ! And joined today only by CarnJas the Mediocre.

    (wait for applause....still waiting...........)

    CarnJas: In my hand I am holding not one but two envelopes. Inside these envelopes are questions specifically and carefully chosen that could only be answered by the esteemed trader, Redneck. Carnac the Magnificent , having never seen these questions, will astoundingly provide the answers through painstakingly honed powers of clairvoyance.
    (handing first envelope over)

    Carnac: I have never seen this envelope before.

    CarnJas: These envelopes have been hermetically sealed and hidden away in a place even the Magnificent Carnac will never lay eyes upon.

    Carnac: Ah, very clever, they've been hidden under Dolly Partons blouse... The first answer is.. Whirr … Whirr … Whirr.

    Carnjas: Whirr .. Whirr .. Whirr

    Carnac: That's what I said. Whirr .. Whirr ..Whirr..(Opens envelope) What must a trader do every day ? WRR..WRR.. WRR ...
    I see we're losing our audience.. the next answer is .When hell freezes over.

    CarnJas: When hell freezes over.

    Carnac: You're not getting paid by the word, you know. When hell freezes over .(Opens envelope) When will Redneck be starting his next juice cleanse ?

    CarnJas: AMAZING !

    LMAO...

    ==============

    I've actually taken to juicing – like a tick to a hound

    Make a gallon batch - twice a week - store it in a Vlasic glass dill pickle jar

    Drink a glass for breakfast – a glass as a mid day snack…, and glass late evening

    Ingredients consist of;

    2 bundles of kale…, 5 bundles of spinach.., 4/5 cucumbers…, 4/5 carrots.., 2/3 stalks of celery…, a twig of parsley or cilantro…, 5 tomatoes…, small bit of ginger (shit is really potent) …, green and red apples to sweeten

    Strain – chill – drink

    Use an Omega VRT 350 masticating machine

    Good stuff

  6. We bought a Blendtec blender at Costco recently. Been making "Green Smoothies" 4-5 times a week. More berries and fruit than juicing recipes but still has the couple handfuls of spinach or kale. I would guess all the vegetables in juicing makes it the slightly healthier way to go but this is so much easier. I can clean the blender in way less time than it took to clean the juicer. But you've got the right idea. One big batch at a time means less clean up time. I think i'll do that too. Mmm, love that ginger. And yeah, as a mid trading session snack it's good stuff !

  7. I'm not sure how to explain todays performance. Complacency, desperation ? IDK.

    Every trade I had time to exit at a much better and obvious exit point but held on hoping , yes hoping, for a turn around. Questionable entries but clearly poor exits.

    Range environment required more patience. After the last trade I shut down for the day. -17.75 pts

    Nothing really to add other than I need to get my sht together quick.

    1 long range break/ continuation

    E 3707.00
    S 3704.75
    T HTF 3712 -3720

    exit - 2.25 Held too long, tighter stop

    2 Long Continuation off HL

    E 3704.75
    S 3702.75
    T 3712 -3720

    Exit -2.00

    3 Short Failed BO/break of support
    E3701.75
    S 3704.75
    T 3697 -3694

    Exit -3.00

    4 Long
    E 3706.50
    S 3703.50
    T 3712-3720

    Exit failure to continue (but at Support area) – 2.50

    5 long break out

    E 3708.
    S 3705

    exit stopped -3.00

    6 Short range break

    E 3701.50
    S 3704.25

    exit stop -2.75

    7 Long fbo / tl break

    e 3705
    s 3702.75

    stopped -2.25

    There is discipline / focus / patience – which everyone claims to possess

    Then there is trader ready – which is exponentially amped up from that - and leaves no room

    ===============

    Coming off any time off – best we have a routine to get our shit collected… wired tight…, and ready

    =======================

    There isn’t many occupations where folks can’t....; fuck up…, call in sick…, have an off day... take a break..., or sluff off -- yet still get paid / have their job the next day

    Probably isn't necessary for me to tell Ya which side of the fence trading falls on

    =======================

    The range – the top of it needs to move up ever so slightly (to the top of those 2 bars just under the number 4)

    There is a secondary range – beginning where price BO and down – a second time – out of the above range (3702 to ~3705.25)

    =================

    Another gentle push – I see absolutely no trade management for any of the trade's targets

    Management via osmosis (even hope) is not acceptable

  9. on trade 7 do you trail any stops or have something that automatically moves the stop to BE+1 after x move higher? Doing some studies you may find that change makes a difference.

    Overall pretty standard PA on the chart good trade positions but in opposite esp on the range break short and huge reversal candle that got a lot of retail shorts trapped and it took off the opposite way. Can usually get in on a breakout pullback short so have some patience.
