OK, RN. I usually place most of the same lines manually on each chart. Some of the minor TL's on the 1 minute I don't put on the 5. But I just changed the properties on the channels, TL's and minor horizontal lines so that they automatically will appear on all charts. (The pink lines I already had set up to automatically show on all charts.) Thanks for catching that. === Thanks JS.
Be judicious with drawing TLs on the 1 min - after all 5 - 1 min bars = equal 1- 5 min bar (assuming all 5 - 1 min bars are within the same Open to Close of a given 5 Min bar) Else - there is a potential trend forming on the 5 min chart 1 min is also a good way to see DBs and DTs on the 5 min RN
I've been struggling with this. I think you use tradestation. Is there a setting to make TL AND horizontal show on all charts but you only have to annotate one? If not, do you mark your context and carry it over to your next LTF chart? I would love to mark a spot on my 240, and see it on the 15. I would like all of these put on the 5. So is there a setting or do you manually creat context for every chart? Thanks, Js
Hey JS I do use TS..., and how I wish there was an option to draw stuff on one TF and have it automatically transfer to another TF If it exists - I don't know about it Another bitch I have.., and have had since switching to TS Draw a TL on a higher TF..., switch the same chart down to a lower TF - the TL disappears =========== Yes Sir - I transfer all lines (context) between the various TF charts manually Fun.., fun RN
Yes. I hate that. If I draw on 240, a horizontal, SOMETIMES, it transfers when zooming in. If I draw 3 horizontal, and zoom in, only 2 transfer? WTH? LOL. Now I can think of you as I'm transferring and how much fun were having. -JS
FYI, I use SC and recently found out that this can be done. I draw my all my lines on 15min and they get carried over to 5min and 1min. Can't beat the convenience and time savings!
