I'm in China now and I have one in my hotel room.
I think I enjoy it a bit too much.

  2. Whereas you took the time to write out and post a series of false statements word for word in their entirety, but not a moment to question their validity. So who's the idiot? Too bad there's no meds for that, eh?

The ones who have us on ignore, so they've missed the memo, "it's been fact checked and it's false," are fun to watch. Like blind, newborn puppies, they wobble one way and "bonk", turn and wobble and... "bonk" again.

  4. no, I have never been to Tokyo, so I am just commenting on what I see in the widely available economic reports. But I will pay top dollar if I can find an old poster on ebay with an emperor pointing his finger and saying "Go to Japan Young Man!"

Well pardon my French but....how the fuck would you know if a place was vibrant if you've never been there?

  8. I know how many girls are getting pregnant from widely available reports. Perhaps we just disagree on my use of the word "vibrant." But yes, I'm sure a young man can have very good sex in Japan.

Japan is like Disneyland for adults.

At night Tokyo is a barely controlled chaos of well-dressed inebriated people. I've never seen anything like it anywhere else in the world.

One night I was taken out to a traditional Japanese restaurant. I was expecting a very interesting and civilized experience. Trying to get to the place took 3 separate taxi rides and some hiking. In Tokyo you take a taxi until it becomes gridlocked at which point you pay and jump out and walk a few blocks and catch another cab that has some possibility of moving lol.

The restaurant was this very large place filled with elevated wood platforms semi-enclosed with ornate wood panels. Seating was on cushions on the floor with the low table you see in movies etc. The people at the tables seemed to be coworkers of each other, like the whole office went to dinner together. They drank and carried on loudly and raucously and it was hilarious because several of them simply passed out and others would drag them partially out of the enclosed portion of the platform so that their face was not visible to the others. Some of them would revive at some point and rejoin the meal. Others were splayed out on the floor comatose the entire time I was there.

Our shoes were collected when we arrived... and tossed into a big pile of everyones shoes and it was a free-for-all trying to find your shoes at closing time with lots of shouting and chaos. Like I said, hilarious and not what I expected.

Trying to get home through a Tokyo filled with drunk smiling people was weird and twice I had women simply try to abduct me with one of them pulling up in a cab and literally grabbing my arm trying to pull me into the cab with my Japanese host pulling my other arm to save me lol. Surreal.

It's just typical, and still Astounding, that someone can describe a place without ever having been there.
My guess - you are American?
    A very common practice.
Maybe visit a place before you pigeonhole it.
