  1. Good points....

    Which leads to the next question....

    How much longer can China, Japan etc....

    "Continue to buy their own exports"...."via the US".... ?....

  2. No, they are not. They will just imprison them or put them on brigades.

    There is war brewing anyway, so the new unemployed can and will be made useful.

    HotTip

    Ha ha. Sounds like a good idea. Why can't we use that in the US?

  4. Largest oil reserves in the world outside of the middle east...Benign existence? I think not. Not to mention the vast natural resources in the north that Canada will have a large piece of in the future.

  5. China = Super Well? I doubt it. Who is going to buy all their crappy exports?

    Japan = Stabilized? Things look bad for Japan. If their recession ends in 1 year, it will be because it has transformed into a full blown depression.

    Korea = Struggling? Who cares?

    US, Germany, England = Deep shit? Germany is the leading exporting economy in the world, and it's not because they pay their citizens $12 a day to produce fake dog shit and cast tools that break the first time you use them. And according to the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. exported almost 1.9 trillion in 2008, including goods and services. Since when is 1.9 trillion "zilch?" If the U.S. did NOTHING else but export, they would have the 8th largest GDP in the world.

    You never know with Canada and England. Canada could go apeshit and attack Russia over the arctic circle, and the U.S. learned all their dirty tricks from the England, so don't assume they're just going to roll over play dead.
