>"But in every losing streak I will doubt myself, as the question of whether I am as good as advertised haunts me" Cast away all doubts....you are absolutely terrific..lol!
Hitman, You don't need advice from another person on this board, that's for sure, but for what it's worth here I go. I don't understand how you trade, but I'm starting to understand where you're going with this bad start to the new year. So regardless of your trading style, I think you're outsmarting yourself and overcomplicating everything. I think you need to step back, clear your head, and step back in fresh. That doesn't mean that you need to take a day off from trading but just that you need to eliminate the itchy trigger finger. It seems that you are overtrading, and that's a bad thing when you aren't hitting your shots. Also, I think this management position you've taken on is hurting you a bit also. Good Luck.
Hitman , What is a losing streak ? Do you have a strategy that has a positive bias (edge)? IMHO Losing streak = winning streak = paying my gas bill = getting paid at the end of the week at Mc Donalds =Probabilities =Nothing. You see nobody ( at a regular job ) says they are going through a losing streak after not getting paid after 4 days work , assuming they get paid bi-weekly , even though they are putting gas in their cars to work and paying other bills e.t.c . That is why i ask , do you have a strategy that has a positive bias ? if you do , you will get paid at the end of the week.
oolarinm, Do you have a strategy that has a positive bias (edge)? Of course Hitman does, and it shows in the best non-theoretical way possible, last year he netted over $70K. Now that's a positive expectancy!

ok I couldn't copy the chart from Realtick 'cause I forget how and just figured bigchart would be fine eneted after dark cloud cover candle was complete(second blue candle from left) and put stop at that high....closed trade because it came very close to my target...and bids started showing up with increasing vol like I said this just a basic pattern I've been using and I posted it for feedback from anyone Thanks in advance. Uptick
I tried to show what I did on this chart...hope it works...and hope to get some feedback from anyone so I know that I'm not just getting lucky recently and that reading my John Murphy book is paying off

They are very sensitive species and you crossed them, they will put a hex on not only you but your family and you ancestors, going back 18 generations!! sorta like Voodoo!!! So don't piss Hitman off!!! lol. I really missed posting here, all the comments from THE KOOL people, it is just that a few rotten apples had ruined it for me and I can't get that after taste from my mouth. aikkk. I am just wondering if there is a way to stop a certain people from posting on your thread?? Let me know if there is such a method.
You can't stop anyone from posting, that's Baron's privilege. You can however, use the ignore function to ignore their comments.
