And the fbi re-opening another dud investigation 11 days before election in 2016. Hillary had a lot of outside opposition helping Trump and a couple of self inflicted wounds but today Trump is the incumbent and only 5 incumbents have failed to get re-elected. It will be a close election and I mean that even within the context of most modern presidential elections are close.
Sure I can understand this if your running for Vice President or Secretary of education but if you want to be the president, and you’re behind you must throw bombs. Tear everything down to the lowest common denominator - the other guy is a crook, bigot, socialist, whatever. None of that happened last night to the extent it will change up the race.
Thanks for the reminder. That one somehow slipped my mind when I posted earlier. I'm guessing there won't be a repeat of that one either. Although with a guy like Barr as AG... Based on nothing other than a gut feeling, I'm guessing (hoping?) that you're wrong on this one. I cannot imagine there will once again be a perfect storm of stupidity, non-participation and mishap that will allow the Trump turd to remain afloat and unflushed.
Because they conducted themselves with dignity? Come on, man. I'm glad it wasn't a Cirque du l'Orange.
You misunderstand me. I am not looking for a circular firing squad. I, too, appreciate the civility. What I am commenting on is that the second tier candidates did not do themselves any favors if their intention is to become the president. They’re not going to midwestern nice themselves to the top spot.
Better yet, just let Trump be on the stage for dem debates. He is the main topic of all the debates so it only seems fitting they he should be there. Where am I going wrong here? The networks are just looking for ratings right?
