It's come to this now nwm? A choose your own adventure conversation! Lol.. I'm not going to browbeat you on this one. It's much easier to do that in the politics forum after you decided to surpass infinite gamma and made this genius statement: But, I do think being pretentious and buying fancy things are at least slightly related. After all, it's hard to be pretentious without needlessly buying lots of fancy things. The gold plated toilet is a perfect example.
I’m sure you have met many pretentious people who don’t buy fancy things. The worst are those who eschew fancy things just to say that they do (which is super pretentious). You still living in the past?
I'll accept this... doesn't mean they're completely unrelated though. I guess legitimate psychologists and marketeers know more about these mindful relationships than I do. I'm just a humble spy
Canadian Dope got Woke on the brain ............... still. Geez. Don't worry Ice Fishing should be staring up soon enough. LOL
Jaguar occupies a unique niche as a car company that doesn't sell any cars!! The most-recently launched Jaguar was the iPace EV. It won Car of the Year in 2018. That the current management chose to discontinue it rather than develop it further says a lot.
Old school media has become obsessed with social engineering. Remember when consumer reports called The Tesla model S P85D the best car ever? It's all about politics. Mercedes S class, BMW 7 series, sure they've been refining those for decades, but a brand new car company, they made a perfect car right off the bat. Give me a break. Of course they had to walk it back when it was obvious nonsense. https://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckj...sumer-reports-walked-back-its-glowing-review/
Don't know about you, but I never considered Consumer Reports for an opinion yea or nay. Sheeple do. Likewise Motor Trend or Road & Track. Back in my younger years Car and Driver sometimes.
I can’t speak for consumer reports but the three car magazines were 100percent in the pocket of the automobile manufactures.
