Yeah Putin has that problem. Always a way. But he may install one of his kids instead and Smith will have plenty on them too. Won't be much sport getting Donald in a few years. Russians poison people so tev MAzis will start that too.
Conspiracy against rights 18 USC 241. Trump could hit back but he would rather focus on the economy. Election machine software comes from Venezuela commies, what if they recorded every switched vote and are holding a massive data archive.
Democrats will keep trying. (Jack)Smith is seeking to dismiss the case without prejudice ... which would leave open the possibility for the case to be refiled after his (Trump) term ends. Donald Trump's win on Election Day is postponing the conclusion of his historic legal loss -- Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg wants a judge to put the president-elect's sentencing on a back burner ... until 2029. Bragg announced Tuesday he's recommending Trump's 34 felony count conviction -- related to the hush money payments to Stormy Daniels -- be put off until Trump is out of office. In a letter to the judge, Bragg says, "The People deeply respect the Office of the President, are mindful of the demands and obligations of the presidency, and acknowledge that Defendant's inauguration will raise unprecedented legal questions." Even before Trump's victory at the polls, his lawyers argued the whole case should be dismissed for several reasons ... including the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling earlier this year on presidential immunity. Bragg's office rejected that argument, saying it has no bearing on Trump's conviction because the Stormy payments were made before he'd won the 2016 election.
Trump has stated "twice" that U.S. Presidents should be allowed more than two terms. In addition, he stated the only way that can occur is if "he's" able to change the U.S. Constitution. In reality, he can try to be a Dictator on Day 1 but it doesn't mean it will work considering most of the shit he said he will do has to go through Congress. So far, even before Trump has been inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States... Republicans in Congress have already stood up and stated they aren't on the same page as Trump even with some of Trump's cabinet picks (e.g. failed Matt Gaetz for DOJ). The biggest winners are not Americans... it will be people like Elon Mush (e.g. SpaceX, Tesla) and Ramswamy (e.g. biotech companies) types that own businesses that formed off the backs of government subsidies. They will be sitting at the top of the hill to gut enough government programs to prevent competition of their businesses to ensure they become richer than what they are today. Hey, I get it...spoils to the victor. This will be taxpayer's dollars but only after they have removed the funds from programs that make America special from other countries (e.g. healthcare benefits for Veterans, wounded Vets & benefits for the family). Another program rarely discussed... anyone who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces and used their monthly paychecks to buy Treasury Bonds (I did) for retirement...that retirement fund will be gone or could be on the chopping block but only if Congress approves... We have a lot of Veterans in Congress. Simply, I doubt Republicans in Congress will allow Trump to be a Dictator on any issue that Congress has the ultimate decision. Yet, we truly do not know that until we see what plays out in the confirmation process for Trump's cabinet picks...picks that must first go through an FBI background check. wrbtrader
Why has the libtard media incessantly stated for years that if Trump is reelected, he will become a dictator, democracy will cease to exist, and it will be the last election in the United States? Libtard media has stated that no less the probably 20 billion times. They made it sound as if becoming a dictator were as simple as being elected president and then just declaring oneself one. That's all there is to it—that simple. As if there were no checks and balances or laws in this country. Are you saying the libtard media is unadulterated Dem propaganda and no one should believe anything that they say? Are all libtard shows for entertainment purposes only? However, the day after Trump was reelected, all of that propaganda stopped immediately. Weird.
First, it's normal to see the "election propaganda" stop the day after the election...on both sides although you will see "a few" still promoting propaganda and lies at social media sites about the election as if it is not over. Then again, I do not watch a lot of what you call Libtard media. Just the same...what are Libtard shows and why do you watch it??? America is now back at attacking the President-elect after America decided who that person is and will be inaugurated in January...just as they did back in 2020. I'm watching a comedy show (Jimmy Kimmel Live) and two jokes so far has been about Biden...not Trump. Back in 2020, the same comedy show joked about Trump and not Biden. I'm glad you mentioned "checks and balances or laws in this country." We can then assume Trump will not try to bypass the FBI Background Checks for his cabinet members' selection and will not try to use Recess Appointments for his cabinet members' selection. Right? https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/a...al-security-by-skipping-fbi-background-checks https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5005576-trump-recess-appointments-concerns/ Further, I think when they are talking about "democracy will cease to exist"...they are not talking about in the same month as the November 2024 elections. They are talking about something that could occur before Trump's term is over in 2029. Yet, I have heard celebrities were moving out of the country if Trump was elected again. Not much of a threat considering they own 2nd or 3rd homes in other countries where they spend most of their time residing. Simply, there are 4 years to go to decide if shit hit the fan and how did the Trump/Vance administration manage it from 2025 - 2029. It is probably not worth the time & energy to debate about what Trump said he would do versus what he did do now that he's the President-elect. Regardless, I still think America is fucked but only if shit hits the fan (e.g. Pandemic). Yet, I felt the same if Harris had been elected too but to a lesser degree. wrbtrader
It is news to me that Recess Appointments are illegal. I mean we wouldn't want Trump to do what Obama did or all of these other Presidents have done. Obama abused it so badly that it was taken to SCOTUS. George Washington: The first president to use a recess appointment, appointing South Carolina judge John Rutledge as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in 1795. Thomas Jefferson: Made multiple recess appointments during his presidency, including appointments of diplomats and other officials. Theodore Roosevelt: Famously made a recess appointment during a "recess of seconds" in 1903, taking advantage of a brief Senate adjournment to appoint 160 officials. Ronald Reagan: Used recess appointments extensively, including the controversial appointment of William Story to the federal bench. - 240 recess appointments George W. Bush: George W. Bush made 171 recess appointments, including 99 to full-time positions. Barack Obama: Barack Obama made 32 recess appointments, which were also mostly to full-time roles. Made controversial recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in 2012, which led to a Supreme Court case. In NLRB v. Noel Canning (2014), the Court ruled some of these appointments unconstitutional because the Senate was technically holding "pro forma" sessions and not in true recess.
Of course. I was only responding to @gwbtrader's post about Trump's joke that he clearly took seriously.
I never said FBI Background Checks and Recess Appointments are illegal. I implied that U.S. Presidents typically do not do both by ignoring FBI Background Checks and Recess Appointments but doing both is still not illegal. Yet, it's well known to use them to bypass what you call "checks and balances". The other checks and balances that you didn't mention...Republicans who were ready with knives out about Matt Gaetz being selected to lead the DOJ. By the way, you didn't answer my question...what are "Libtard Shows" as you called them that you watch on TV??? wrbtrader
Anytime I want to see some hyperbolic, fearmongering fictional TV, I binge watch binge watch The Great Libtard Pronoun Show and Cancel Culture Island. And let's not omit the tour de force that is 'Rachel Maddow's Midnight Monologues,' where she deciphers the universe's secrets with her usual hyperbole, dramatics, and detestable lies.
