Jack Ma steps down as chair of BABA

I've read he's "part" of the CCP, though I hardly doubt it. I saw a video where a Chinese billionaire (forgot his name) says he's in trouble because the CCP is after him...

So now he steps down as chair of BABA, and I'm not convinced it was by choice... Anyone got an article or story?
