Jack Hershey methods

  1. Seriously old man you are totally deluded, ET is entertainment, only losers like yourself would take it seriously and think it could actually help anyone to trade.. you sound like a child when you make statements like that

Tell me again how Mandelbrotset is going to get to 40 cars in between posting his crazy photos and shifting rants

Seriously are you suffering from dementia?

  2. You're the only one who didn't pony up your tally today Trader28.

For you and anyone else who wants to criticize spydertrader the ultimate proof is in the putting.

    ... tell you what.

When I get up to 40 cars ... will you promise to quit your Clown Jester act and get serious?

    Your only answers are:

    a) Yes, I will quit acting like a fool and apply myself to being a successful trader.

    b) No, I will not stop acting like a fool, even though no one (and I mean NO ONE) believes my act now.

    c) Who me? People think I'm a fool?

    We patiently await your response.

  4. <i>"today for 40 contracts over two hours, the market offered a trader over 40,000 dollars who had 20,000 dollars of margin with his broker."</i>

Let's be real careful touting the use of straight-out daytrade margin. Anyone who trades 1 emini contract (fwiw a "car' is technically a big S&P contract) per $500 balance of capital on every trade, all in at every entry is either stone stupid or ignorant of the outlier risk.

There is no third choice in the matter.

I've been trading intraday since late 1999 and in that brief period of time have seen a few unexpected events. Two surprise rate cuts in 2001 and NYC turned upside down later that year were three "black swan" events that spiked the futures faster & further than anyone could imagine.

Find yourself on the wrong side of such an event OR have any number of glitches between you and the exchange fail to execute a stop... account balance is vaporized in a nanosecond. If you're lucky, it'll only go to zero and not result in a nasty margin-call debt.

There is a time & place to margin up on certain trades. Not all of them, or even most of them. Let's be sure to warn emini traders on the clear and present danger of shocking events that may fail to exit open trades at their expected stops... or anywhere remotely close.

I've made $30,000+ between the bells trading a $20k account maxed out on margin in the ER. I kept selling into a late-afternoon cascade lower and caught the ride. Had other days similar of $10k+ to $20k when account balances doubled. I also knew that averaging into a trend move and rapid execution of the trade limited disaster risk versus reward.

Sitting in a trade for hours on end with $500 per contract margin is a whole other world of assumed, unlimited risk.

Just so we're perfectly clear about unexpected risk with everyone who trades eminis that read these blurbs.

  5. Wow, you mean that.

There's no proving anything to you. So feel free to carry-on. People will tune-in to see what the town drunk is up to now, but remember, when you're done vomiting and pissing in your bed, you're still going to have to sleep there.

  6. He took an hour to post it.. if you are that naive you can't see why he didn't post it when Duref did then you deserve to go and study SCT

  8. We had a blotter posting compeition over on one of Duref's threads:

Everyone has a horse in the race except for Trader 28

T28 still doesn't have a horse in the race, so I (and no one else involved in this conversation) really is listenting to what he's saying anymore.

  9. Mandelbrot made a request. Todd responded.

Prior to that, there was some taffic between the OP and Todd. Todd suggested that the OP check out the T&S for the timing and Todd did not post a print.

As suggested to you in several places, you may need to reassess where you are coming from.

Even if making money is not important to you, you may want to pass some time doing it. Money can be used for a lot of things. Are you too old to go to school?

  10. You can spin that shit whatever way you want.. bottom line he tried to bullshit his way out of it and when he couldn't it took him an hour to produce it.. and that's the best you've got in 5 years :p

You have got so old Jack that you don't go out anymore and think ET is the whole world, that's why you get so excited about everything here.. you think it matters :p  :D
