Sorry, I cannot comment on other peoples habits, but I can say that from an observers perspective, constructive criticisms and/or arguments as to the merits or lack thereof of the prescribed techniques may be a more effective and substantive approach. I believe this was the purpose of the OP (though I may be mistaken).

Firstly, I envy you C-kid... Not everyone comes out of the womb as a slick and successful trader - Bravo to you, you smell terrific... I will say this much, being new, I feel it is important for an individual to be able to distinguish between effective and efficient learning vs a path which yields little. This can be measured by results.

Secondly, what was offerred was not advise, it was opinion, as requested by the OP. Class, here is yet another example of "translation". Should you choose to partake in the JHM journey, DO NOT end up as a poster child on the warning label of the journals...

    Have a great night folks.

  2. ehorn, why have you decided to 'partake in the JHM journey?' Can you find no better way to trade?

JH 'proof of his system is' I have been trading 50 years, I have written 40 books, this approach works. yada yada yada.

I would not call Hershey a 'moocher' as some have because I don't have the facts. No way to tell who is paying the bills at home. "That is private!" some will say. If you were telling others how to become extremely wealthy; would not evidence of that success appear close to home? Especially considering age and health of the parties involved.

As someone who has told someone/everyone how to turn $10000 into $15M within a year why not help Liz to become at least wealthy enough to no longer work? However, Hershey has made this issue relevant because of his constant chest beating. As someone who has traded 50 years and telling others they should be making $15M within a year when there is no evidence he ever traded at anywhere near that level. There is no evidence that anyone in his group has traded near that level. There should be some indication of success after the years of posting daily. Where is it? Since HE has made experience and character an issue; it is fair to discuss.

3 * H-L while Always in the Market, no loses. Not even his followers believe this is possible; but they continue to defend day after day.

Let the screams of 'personal attack' begin!!!! You cannot shout 'look at me' and then object when someone actually does so.

Back to my nice quiet evening!

  5. When will we see a journal thread on ET for proving that?

  6. OddTrader, thank you for the invitation, but I am riveted here:

utterly transfixed by the effort of Duref Mudgins to supplant Jack as ET's Guru-in-Residence. With the new thread rating system, quality will out. Duref's is up to seventeen 5 ratings. Besides, you are doing just fine without me. If TUMS is the tougest thing the A-Team throws at you, you don't need me. But if Spydie turns up, I'll tag team with you.

  8. While we're waiting for Spydie to come out and fight like a man, I'll get to work on your thread's rating.

  9. No doubt I would like to learn how spy can earn 3xRange daily with live calls for SCT, whether with or without some losses during each day! :)

  10. Thanks for inviting me to participate. I notice that your rating shot up as soon as I started coming here. Quality will tell.

But live calls are useless. The ET clock is slow 5 minutes. I made a great NQ live call Friday using that feature. Accurate to the tick, it was.
