    shall we share a github repo for this ?

    class HersheyStrategy:
    def __init__(self, market_data):
    self.market_data = market_data
    self.signals = {}

    def identify_entry_signals(self):
    # Implementation of entry logic based on Hershey's method
    pass

    def identify_exit_signals(self):
    # Implementation of exit logic based on Hershey's method
    pass

    def generate_trading_signals(self):
    # Combine entry and exit logic
    entry_signals = self.identify_entry_signals()
    exit_signals = self.identify_exit_signals()
    return self.combine_signals(entry_signals, exit_signals)

  2. Would anyone care to summarise it in a couple of lines?

    What about it brought so much hate?

    Ive only heard his name mentioned in a ridiculing tone.

    i never had a problem with jack until he and his cult members come after me out of nowhere.

    they are like the demon party it's their way or we burn and loot you.

    jack just never stopped providing "well you should have done this" "well you should have done that" it was never ending sets of new rules with no clear definitions. that's why the op is 95% and not 100% programmed.

    but like others have said to each his own, you have to find your own path.

    sometimes the hard way.

  4. Good Morning Mark,

    I have learned in day trading the only way I learn trading is by one way:

    1. Losing Real Money

    best teacher there is - i always say most traders fail because they refuse to keep losing money.

    Follow Jack Hersey? Good idea if you love mazes with countless dead ends and no way out. Jack was famous for obfuscation, and being either unwilling or incapable of saying anything clearly and concisely. This is the opposite of what you want to look for in a trader or trainer.

    I am a JH disciple, and my trading incorporates pieces of JH v1 and v2. v2 being the lead.
    Like others mentioned, you have to find your own path. For me, with trading roots tied to volume (VSA, market profile, Wykoff, and more), it(JH) was a natural.

    I am open to discussion and questions... but I am not a teacher in the ET forum format setting.
    Specifics are fine. I am a futes day trader, flat eod.

    Yea that's basically what I remember of him. He would go on and on about "fractals" or some such nonsense. I never could make heads or tails of what he was saying.

  9. Hello MarkBrown,

    Correct, and traders have to lose money EXTREMELY fast, very fast to know what works and go to the next losing strategy.

    The Edge in day trading is losing money QUICKLY, so you can make money QUICKLY!!

  10. Hello tomkat22,

    Making money should be easy, not complex. But need to have ideas and options to test and see what works for you.

    It is ok to bet the entire trading account on 1 trade as well, as long as you can afford to lose the money and start over again.

    Big Captial size is a VERY good Edge in trading.
