So somebody owns someone an apology? :)

You to Jack, and in return he can thank you for providing evidence. Now ET is going to be just one big LOVEFEST! :)

  2. Bwolinsky you nutjob!!
You test a system on the SPX and conclude that it is profitable on the ES ?? A simple crossover is profitable on the SPX. I have a drawer full of profitable systems on the SPX. YOU CANT TRADE THE SPX !!!!!!!!

That source code is practically illegible. You sure you didn't make any more mistakes in there?

I tried translating it to legible pseudo code, but some of the functions seem undocumented and vague.

It might help if you annotate the code with some comments that speak to the exact portion of the Hershey method you are addressing, and spell out in English what you are attempting to do mechanically. That way we can translate it into code required to run on our machines...

  4. You're kidding, right?

Ten pages of code to make 25 trades and that doesn't raise huge red flags? Even if it doesn't "peek" into the future (and I'd bet it does)?

  5. My guess is to "peeks" at future bars but even if it doesn't, 10 pages of code to make 25 trades is a joke, not a system.

  6. P.S. Why was "debunked" added to the thread title?

Does anyone really believe that 10 pages of code (that probably "peeks" at future bars) to make 25 trades lends credence to Hershey's "methods" in any way?

  8. Who knows, but if an ardent J Hershey hater turns into a lover, then anything is possible.
