0.4 for an index value of 5000? re. the superposition - I was talking about the dimensional analysis - price has different units to volume and A/D yet we add their respective cycles together.
Nice chart Point One. Have you automated the entry and exit lines on the main chart and on the 5, 2, 3 stochatics window? Here is my effort for this morning
The vertical lines are hand placed for now, but you see they line up with the paintbar band at the top of the chart, based on the stoch values. On the MACD I have paintbars to hi-light crosses above and below zero (turns), and also crossovers of the zero line (sentiment change). On the Stoch, as well as the 50 crossover I look at the rate of change (bar compared to prior bar) - the idea being to anticipate the 50 crossover - and if both lines pop across in the same bar . Hope that helps. Looks like you harvested another boring 5 points there!
There is no facility with ensign to draw one vertical line throughout all the windows, one has to do it, a window at a time. Bit of a drag, once I have marked the chart I use snagit for the vertical lines now. I am not very technical, just get by and I don't like changes. With ensign there are so many changes every few months, I only upgrade when I am forced to. I do have QT ( good value for money) but I don't find it user friendly for trendlines and channels. I love your charts, lovely colours.
