Surprisingly, Interactive Brokers is up today at this moment while the other brokers are falling in high percentages. I think it's because IBKR serve lots of international non-U.S customers who cannot gain access to the free trades from JP Morgan.
Where do you see that "international non-US customers cannot gain access to the free trades from JP Morgan?"
Robinhood (another free trade broker) does not give access to non-US clients to the platform, most brokers dont. so its probably not a bad assumption
it is a major nuisance to register your bd in every jurisdiction, furthermore there is the issue that Europeans cannot invest in US etfs. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...t-to-europe-s-etfs-as-spy-no-longer-an-option https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/priips-kid-on-ib.322160/ is there anything in the offerthe offer which isa serious thread to existing discount brokers?
It's not really free....you need to have Many many many many tens of thousands of dollars to get free trading, $250,000 to be exact...yes the first 100 trades are free however anything after that is $2.95 a trade....if you have premier account with $15,000 the first 100 trades are free.... So is it like Robinhood. The answer is NO...is it free free free ...the answer is once again NOOOOOOO .
