i've been given a gap strategy for nasdaq stocks but:

i can't actually see whether it works or not. i will tell someone the strat if they can provide charts on demand to see if it works

 

You again. This is really simple. Get a paper account with a broker like thinkorswim, test it yourself.

 

you again, like i said previously i don't have enough money to open an account to get access to the demo, if it works i can spreadbet the stocks first

 

Who keeps "giving" you these strategies? Why wont they help you get going?

 

You can open a thinkorswim account for free. You are under no obligation to fund it. Paper trading still works.

Dang. I didn't realize TOS wasn't accepting accounts from the UK. Just verified this myself on their signup page.

You could try a paper account at optionsXpress. If I'm not mistaken, IB also offers a paper account.
