GBP movement, anyone watching? I'm waiting to short on the break of lows...

Also some movement on the USD/CAD, I'm long at 1.2126, looking to see the upward trend continue.

    Morning!

  2. Took a EUR/AUD short at 1.9086, covered at 1.9052. It seems a floor has formed around the 1.9000, or just above. If the hourlies break south, who can tell?
I watched last evening. The price seemed to be drifting for about 4 hours. However, that "drift" was actually a 100 pip drop!
This pair always moves, you just need big balls for the "wiggle":D

  4. I've been tick phucking all night. Average winner has been 10-15 pips. Been batting around 90% though so I am happy.

I wonder if any of the USD or EUR speeches scheduled for today will be used as an excuse to either bust through the 1.25 level to the downside or strongly reject these current levels and shoot us higher.

They are really bringing out the big guns these days to manipulate currencies and other markets...so who knows.

    Good trading guys.

EDIT: Testing 1.25 as we speak...

  6. Well CMC have finally joined the variable spreads brigade....only thing is apparently their spreads will never go below their old fixed spreads! Talk about one-way street!

Jeez, is there just one marketmaker out there with a fair deal because I'm getting fed up with this garbage....

  7. Doubtful. If you can widen spreads anytime you please, just more $. I don't support it, but it beats a commission on top of a fixed spread.

  8. Damn bro that sucks. I don't know of anyone out there worth a damn right now. Maybe IG Markets.

These FX dealers are like the fox guarding the hen house.

  9. Does anyone know how to trade futures?

    :D

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind if marketmakers widen spreads across data or at volatile illiquid times but fair's fair, they should also narrow spreads as well at times, to even it out. At the end of the day they're only bucketshops, it makes little difference what the underlying market's spreads are doing as they hedge on aggregate.

Anyway, on a more positive note I'm kickin' Oanda's butt again today....and I ain't done with them yet! :D
