  1. I guess you got to take it when you can get it. I don't know who said having your own business was easy but they obviously hadn't done it whoever they were!

Hmmm, New York, that's an idea......might see you there, I'll be wearing an 'I [IMG] NY' t-shirt, eating a chilli dog, and looking like a typical Brit tourist! :)

It may not be easy having your own business but you got to admit it is probably the best job you ever had.

Want to know a sure fire way to tell the tourists from a local NY'er?

The tourist are walking around staring up at the buildings going "WOW!" open mouthed while the locals are picking their pockets.*

    :D

    * modern day pick-pocketing: $2 for a bottle of water, $2.50 for dirty water dog, $4 for a slice of pizza, $20 beers (topless joints), $10 "Polo" shirts, $35 Rolexes, $600/hr hookers. And the tourists are thinking they are getting a deal because the dollar is so weak.

  8. lol, that reminds me of the (true) story about a bunch of UK businessmen who paid for a few Bunny Ranch girls to come to the UK for a weekend after seeing a documentary about them on TV. Their biggest selling point apart from the money they were going to pay was 'we're quick'!

  9. lol, good one!

We've still got Oliver Twists and Fagans over here, mind you they're more likely to be called Oliveriski and Faganovich nowadays and using a Lebanese loop to steal your ATM card! That's progress for ya!

    Lebanese Loop -

I had to look that one up. Is it a serious problem in Europe? That's why you got to use the ATM's where the card doesn't leave your hand.
