Ivanovich not following the rules

Discussion in 'Feedback' started by Port1385, Mar 19, 2009.

  1. My biggest gripes against Ivanovich are the following:

    1) He does not follow the rules of the forum and arbitrarily moves/deletes posts based upon his own personal bias versus the code of conduct.

    http://www.elitetrader.com/conduct_rules.cfm

    2) He does not follow the privacy policy of the site and sometimes reveals poster's ip addresses in the forum as an act of intimidation.

    3) Resorts to name calling against posters thus violating the code of conduct.

These are not just my observations, but many other posters. Why do the mods insist on us following the rules when they dont follow them? I feel as if I am being terrorized and intimidated by this behavior. Is this the way to moderate...through terror and intimidation?

  2. LoL! Did you actually just say this?? :D

I think your referring to times when a member uses multiple aliases, this is only when a moderator might post IPs; especially when spamming or 2 members are in collusion with each other to gang up on someone. Name calling? Probably referring to a few posters that we have on going issues with.

  4. Oh, give it a rest already, Port. I don't give out IP numbers - EVER. Please show me where I gave out an IP. Please also show me where I gave out specific information about a person other than "he is posting from California". And that was done when someone is multiple usernames and/or spamming, as Joe said.

The whining is getting really old, Port. Aren't you supposed to be over 40 or something? And no, I didn't get that from my super-seeker-moderator-age-detector.

    Terrorization, indeed.

Port is in on the Ivan attack club, nothing more.

  5. Any similiarity to the Mickey Mouse Club?

  6. LoL...best example of pot calling the kettle black in recent memory!

  7. I'm not a mod you moron.. jeez no wonder you blindly followed Hershey Swordsman.. you're as dumb as a sack of doorknobs

  8. You do act like a troll Ivan.. Baron had to delete 2 pages of pictures you posted in a feedback thread because they along with your behavior were so infantile

  9. LoL, yeah YOU'VE never had pages of pics deleted for acting infantile...Riiiiiigggghhhhhttttttt :D

It's ok Aussie man, we all think you are the epitome of maturity :p

  10. Glad you agree

You're a great example of the stages a Hershey trader goes through while studying Jack's "teachings."

Stage 1 -- Eagerness and Ingratiation

licking my chops as i only get better yes, agree jack and spyder are great, jack is a little tough to follow but his teachings, once untangled, are very helpful!

Stage 2 -- Delusion and Defensiveness

Im sure you probably didnt know this but actually on the very first page of the "Spydertraders Jack Hersheys Futures" thread there are links to many pieces of info for people to do their due dilligence first, ranging from the terminology to concepts to just basic background info. Anyone who read that stuff and continued on would never been seen as following a guru blindly. And it cleary states that one should read all the associated links before moving on.

    Stage 3 -- Denial

I've repeatedly told you I don't trade SCT only that I asked some questions over a year and a half ago

    Stage 4 -- Acceptance

Not once have I ever spoken to Jack Hershey and for all I know he's a shitty trader like you all say.
