There market cap was very low also. They were on the brink of a run, you canât deny that. Blankfein was calling Paulson three times a day while there market was plummeting. If it had not been for Paulson at the treasury they would have gone under.

The poll was about Goldman - but what about the "Let's hope we're all rich and retired before this house of cards falls." (CNBC House Of Cards special) e-mail from one of the ratings agencies? If that isn't as close to a confession as you can get, what is? If they back-track that up the chain, where would that lead? What's taking so long?
