It's time to start shunning the 'vaccine hesitant.' They're blocking COVID herd immunity.

An in-depth study showed that antibody immunity after catching COVID does not last 6 months for 40% of people. For 11.6% of people it does not even last a few days. How difficult is this for you to understand.? I guess actual medicine and science is difficult for you.

You said for months and months that immunity lasts forever - -while also promoting the nonsensical "T-Cell immunity" as well.

The study shows the actual facts -- in 40% of people you are unprotected after catching COVID and are likely to catch it again quickly. This does not even account for the reality that 100% of people who had COVID are likely to catch one of the recent variants based on recent scientific studies.

  5. @gwb-trading .. just spoke to a relative in Raleigh and she says a doctor friend of hers is indicating they are throwing out vaccines in larger numbers (when it is taken out of the super chill storage and not used it has to be thrown out). Republicans keep pushing against vaccination... are you noticing an anti-Covid vaxx movement in NC?

Her, her husband and child (over 16) all got Moderna but noticing a lot of people refusing to do but not for allergy or other medical reasons....

Well let me address the Moderna item first. I have not heard of people locally rejecting Moderna. Pfizer and Moderna both are accepted by people here getting shots. Also not hearing of people getting more side effects with Moderna over Pfizer generally. I have heard of people rejecting J&J locally because of possible blood clot side effects and that it is less effective.

We do have a problem in some counties now in N.C. with people not making appointments for shots -- leading to a supply gut. This has lead to providers and counties reducing their requests for doses.

The only place I have heard of throwing vaccines out is at mass vaccination events when people don't show up to get shots. This has happened locally at recent mass vaccination events including Raleigh (AFAIK). Due to this N.C. is moving away from mass vaccination events.

We do have an active anti-vaxxer movement in our state. They have protests, etc. --- some have tried blocking vaccination sites.

All of the above I get from our local news and a few neighbors involved in giving shots.

To mitigate the damage they're causing we're going to have to raise taxes, particularly in California and especially in San Diego.

Anti-vaxxers that don't want to take a vaccine...that's their rightful choice.

Yet, an anti-vaxxer that tries to block those that make it a choice to take a vaccine...it should be a criminal offense...they should be arrested for trying to prevent someones right to proper healthcare during a health crisis.

Here in Québec, an anti-vaxxer approached someone at a vaccine site and started a heated argument with someone. That person beat down the anti-vaxxer...an old fashion ass whooping.

We probably, have herd immunity right now. Look at Florida where they have ditched masks and gone back to normal life pretty much. Infections have gone down and it is not due to wearing masks or lockdowns. Come on ET trolls, explain that one.
