Exactly. The country is still on the trajectory that Obama left, only now Trump has exploded the debt to pay off the ultra wealthy and investor class. These right wingers don’t realize almost nothing has changed but because they got some loud mouth that likes to yell at minorities and our allies they think there has been some economic miracle but it’s the same exact economy. Personally, and I’m not joking, I expect there to be less college degrees as a percentage of people under 35 in the coming years because these right wingers are getting “stupider.”
Yup. These right wingers will ignore the debt with Republican presidents and when a recession hits they will blame democrats, too. Then when we actually need deficit spending to pull us out of the financial disaster republicans inevitably cause all the time they will cry about putting debt on their children. They are fiscal atheists with Republican presidents and zealots when it’s a democrat but they are not bright enough to understand when it’s time to pay down the debt and when it’s time to spend to pull us out of recession.
