I do not trade this way. and I recommend against buying in a bear market. But we do have a great opportunity here to buy the drop. I follow the ES more than the NQ and the 2 are different enough that they might end the drop differently. I do see a good place to buy using the cash price of sp500. I will stick my neck out and say there is an excellent area for SP500 to bounce. the support looks good at 2325 to 2320 area for tomorrow the day after christmas Dec 26. this is nicely down from the present closing price of 2351. I have no intention of buying in a bear market like this. You are on your own. I agree with the above posting. I think a classic buy would happen if the ES opens down hard to this support area and starts to work up all day. that would be the best of all worlds. then take profits on the close. it would be a great day trade. my numbers are not sacred. they are intended to be a broad area of prices. I gave them a narrow range to highlight the theoretical level for a bounce.
it is now 9:40 pm ET about 3 hours 40 minutes after opening. guess what it did open up a little but went down to the 2320 a little below then moved up strongly to above 2350 a nice move in say 2 hours for $1500 profit. all this on 1 min bars it was moving fast. the risk reward was excellent! if you take the tiny dip below 2320 and took profits at 2350. of course being ready to buy below 2320 was even better or buying as it went back up above the 2320 was perfect. it came up off the bottom super fast and strong even on 1 minute bars. obviously a lot of professionals were ready to buy before the opening. they were ready with their finger on the BUY BUTTON. That was fun for the bots. NO I did not take the trade. I was out of the house for Christmas. I have no interest in taking trades against the trend. will it repeat in New York. who knows. as far as I am concerned it is over with. I use 24 hour charts. it moved as expected! by me. hahaha. It was fun for me.
%% LOL; DOW is such a squirrel. SDOW had a good short term run today. And actually pays a good dividend LOL, believe it or not...........................................................................
