It's summertime, and you know what that means in the big cities. . .

    More Democratic government incompetence...
Arrest warrants issued for a plumber and a lunch lady in the death of Freddie Gray.

Freddie Gray arrest documents drawn up for wrong people

When charges were announced Friday against Alicia White for the death of Freddie Gray, her phone started buzzing from journalists.

The problem was, they were calling the wrong Alicia White. The elementary school cafeteria manager from East Baltimore was not the Baltimore Police sergeant charged with manslaughter in the high-profile police custody death - even though court records listed her.

The Sun was among those who contacted the other White on Friday based on the information in court records, seeking comment from her or her family.

"The middle initial was off. Her address, her height, her weight, her driver's license number - all of the information was my client's information," said Jeremy Eldridge, an attorney who says he has been hired by the resident.

"Her life has been a living hell the past four days," he said.

Heh heh heh. That could be fun.

"Yeah, this is so and so. I got nothing to say, except I HATE n!ggers sooo much that I joined the Klan. Well, applied, actually. This was my initiation. I am in like Flynn now, baby! Woah! Bye now, take care and God bless."

Seriously, this stuff is nuts. The press is only too happy to publish addresses of people they do not agree with. Eventually people will turn on them and start posting editor addresses and newspaper people and such. Once these idiots uncork this genie, he's not going back in the bottle. Right now the left is happy to see public opinion ruining the lives of people who make a simple statement they do not like. In the end, nobody will be happy with the thought police running around.

I remember seeing a show on the SciFi channel (before it became SyFy) about a traditional family locked in a very large cage constructed to look like a real home. The onlookers were curious to see what a traditional family looked like because it had become all but extinct in the future. The zoo had enclosed humanity's last remaining traditional family. Maybe there is some truthful foresight to that. The concept of family is undergoing major changes as social evolution and technology remakes the traditional family. What's a family now? Two mommies and a child? Two daddies and a child? A single 40 year old mother who undergoes in-vitro fertilzation? Or an older, single man getting a child from a surrogate mother?

I think it's a given that in the future advances in biology will make natural births extinct as no woman will want to birth naturally if the artificial womb is available. That may hasten the decline of the traditional family. Further advances in biology would cause some people to genetically clone oneself to live in eternity rather than having to deal with offspring with only 50% of one's genetics. In that individual's case, his "family" would merely be multiple versions of himself through time.

Interesting thoughts. Was the scifi show you are referring to actually an episode of The Twilight Zone?
    : )

  7. The means of production is getting distributed all over the place. 3D printers are the latest chapter in that book. So a lot of assholes burn inner city shitholes, not sure it's relevant to much of anything other than tv screens. We can program our gps's to go around the bad scenes. The thing about Marx and the end of the traditional family is that people from traditional families do a lot better in life. The ghettos with their lack of family are just permanent smoking craters. It's a big yawner when they erupt into flames.
