If we want to discuss the law not being applied to residents in an equal way and "social injustice" then we really should be discussing the treatment of Turks in Germany... but we will move on to the underlying issues with the riots. The first and foremost underlying problem in the U.S. related to these riots is black activists such as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Rev. Barber stirring up racial animosity for their own fund raising purposes. The characters focus on stirring the racial pot to green mail companies and get extra grant money from government entities to enrich their personal lifestyles. Over and over again they have been wrong on the factual issues - take a look at the Tawana Brawley case, the Duke Lacrosse case, Ferguson... but they create a fabricated reality to fit their agenda. The entire agenda pushed from Sharpton and company is that white man is oppressing the blacks and the blacks need to protest (riot) to get what they need - a continuous "race grievance" industry. Sharpton & company needs to keep things stirred up in order to pull in more money. The fruits of their labor are looting and rioting in cities & towns across America. Not once has any of these black activists attempted to address the real problems of the black community; lack of education, welfare dependency, drugs, fatherless families, and lack of personal responsibility via funding from their organizations. Who are their biggest critics? Real black activists who attempt make a difference in their local communities. The associated problem is a culture within the black community focused on violence, mistreatment of women, drugs, and being a thug. All of this is glorified in rap videos and upheld as "proper" behavior. This culture needs to be turned around to focus on personal responsibility, getting educated, not doing drugs, proper respect for all people, getting a job, staying off of public assistance, and not creating fatherless children - as the standard for civilized behavior. Just like many other countries, the U.S. has problems that we need to further address. These include the cost of education, medical coverage, policing, the legal system, money in politics, and others. The proper way to address these issues is through the political system, electing politicians who share your views and pushing for changes via calling/mailing their offices. Rioting in the streets will not improve anything - it will only have the majority of law abiding Americans demanding a sharp & immediate crackdown on the criminal looters. One immediate solution for policing is requiring body cameras to be worn by all officers and the video to be preserved. Keep in mind that video regularly shows that the officers are correct well over 95% of the time. In instances where the officers do not act correctly then they need to disciplined or fired. Even if you "fix" all the problems in the U.S. and offer free college education to everyone while providing food, housing, and money to them - there will still be a culture of "takers" who refuse to improve themselves via the free education (just like they did in K-12) and prefer to be criminals. So even if you offer all this opportunity - individuals must be step up and be PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE - which is the entire issue in society, not "social injustice".
so, another conservative whose only talking point is "blacks against whites". You added zero value with pointing fingers.
Amusing that all you can see in the commentary is black against white.... and don't address any of the issues outlined such as personal responsibility. Let's move on and talk about the brutal abuse and social injustice of the Turks in Germany. We can have a further discussion about AfD and Pegida. So explain to us again why you left your home country?
A german is lecturing us on social injustice? How about the social injustice in rich germany putting the screws to the poor in greece to collect loans for german banks? Oh, that's different? The greeks are lazy and irresponsible and have been living off government welfare for too long?
I think countries like German show right now that you can run a top notch economy and country while providing broad social benefits and a social welfare system to those who lost out due to unfortunate circumstances. Your Turkish immigrant point makes zero sense. Germany welcomed and integrated millions of Turkish immigrants, they make up around 10% of the total population in Germany. Total unemployment in Germany stands around 5%, so, given that there are non-Turkish immigrant and refugee groups that find it much harder to integrate and find employment I would say the Turkish community does fantastically well in Germany. Hardly a single soul left and ever returned to Turkey. But back to the point: You can have a society that innovates, produces at high productivity levels, with a trustworthy and reliable fiscal policy, people who spend but also have plenty to save, free education, relatively low levels of violence (murders, killings are extremely rare compared to the US, and Nazi demonstrations are blown out of proportion by foreign media (especially American media, which are entirely Jewish controlled [I challenge you to name a single major national publication, tv, newspaper, media, that is not majority controlled by Jews], and leave no opportunity to knock down Germany's reputation). And above all, Germany also has ultra high networth individuals but they do not show off and run around bragging but nor do they have to hide behind fences for fear of jealousy or retribution. The huge majority of society is incredibly balanced in terms of living standard and wealth. Germany has tackled major issues over the past decades. Drug abuse and related crimes are at all time lows thanks to a drug policy that supports the demand side of the equation. Education is pretty good and entirely free. Ecologically hardly any other country in the world can keep pace with the progress in Germany. The amount of energy generated from alternative sources is simply staggering. Germans are pretty well educated, no school type comes to mind that would even have to compete with the American type of community college, I think it is safe to say that even middle-high school level math in Germany lies on a higher level than the one taught at American community colleges. The problem in the US is not a problem with Blacks, illegal immigration. The single biggest threat to the US imho is a gross imbalance in wealth distribution and even more important a gross imbalance in opportunities depending into which family you are born. There are other big items on the to-do list such as educating the average American to higher standards (US students on average are trailing most every European or Asian country), its ridiculous war on drugs, its war(s) on terror (chuckle), gun control, campaign financing reform, and an overdue rethink why an American CEO on average earns around 330 more than an average worker and why certain races in society constantly enjoy preferential treatment while their average IQ is not any higher than other races and while their work ethic nor skill level is any higher than the one of others. Those are the questions that the US needs to really busy itself with. Oh did I forget Russia and China?
Lol, lecturing? No the world is taking a piss out of Americans right now. While you hardly can find a single nation in the Middle East, Africa, or Asia where you don't have your dirty fingers stirring things up, your own house is LITERALLY burning. Maybe time to retreat a little and overthink strategies? And since when is it Germany's job to rain money on the Greek bastards? Seriously, has someone shitted into your brain? Has any Greek paid into the social welfare pot in Germany? If yes then they can demand, else they can piss off. Simple as that. You pay in then you have privileges. Else you don't.
Especially when you have an export machine that sends all your manufacturing to the rest of the EZ without currency limitations/fluctuations. It's long been debated (and I agree), that Germany has gotten rich off the backs of pretty much everyone else in the EZ when it devalued the DM to assume the Euro. Of course, this works at the expense of everyone else in the union who experienced the opposite effect.
so, if that is such a strong argument how come US corporations have not done any better with an ultra low US dollar for several years? The US consumer is not buying and nor are corporations performing capital expenditures. If the currency strength/weakness was the all around problem/solution then it would have manifested itself in the US and many other economies that lived through times of devalued currencies. Look at Japan. Nothing is happening in that country other than equity markets trying to play a little catch up with the rest of the world. The yen is pretty cheap by any standard yet you see no improvements in exports (and Japan still does export quite a bit). But I understand all the jealousy and bickering that is going on. Certain interested groups have never found closure, no matter how many times Germany apologized for its historical crimes against humanity. No matter the settlements and payments. Some people just cannot get the mouth full enough. Look at all the American Jews that are lining up and try whatever they can to extract more in settlement money while every last Jew has been well compensated for lost ones. (at least as well compensated as financially possible, while money can never outweigh a human life), so I do understand your sentiment and hinting at Germany having to play welfare boy for poor European nations.
