I don't know what another administration might do, but hopefully they would not make all the idiotic moves that the Bush adiminstration has made. All those years of telling ourselves that we are the 'one remaining super power' has made us incredibly stupid in foreign policy, or at least the 'hard liners' as they now proudly characterize themselves. It is stupid to think we can go it alone. Do you see how beat up and discredited the Blair govt is getting over because of blindly following our lead? That's what a loyal ally gets for letting this radical administration pull the wool over its eyes. m
Things are going much worse for those opposing us than our allies and friends. France- Trying to decide if they are even relevant after Lybia turned around. Major problems everywhere and corruption you wouldn't believe especially around the "food for oil" payments by Sadaam to oppose us. Germany- Looking for a friend anywhere. Canada- Chretien is gone but his odor will linger for quite some time. Totally corrupt and connected to Chirac through former Iraq oil money. BSE, soft wood tariffs, and the probable collapse of their socialized medicine program. 60% of their doctors want to quit. UN- What a complete and incompetent joke. There needs to be much more done on the investigation of the corrupt oil for food fiasco. And you want us to put our faith and trust in these? Before we waited for years for them to do anything and 9/11 happened then Bush named the axis of evil members and went after them and guess what most of them are gone or in serious negotiation. Your way is no way and the weakest easiest road to more 9/11s.
If you were President, how would you handle foreign policy? How would you stimulate the economy and job growth. What would you do about SS and medicare? Immigration? Are you ever going to run for President? I need to know so I can vote.
The 'axis of evil' speeches is one of the most assinine political speeches ever made. Have you listened to the dip shit who helped write that speech? He's out to lunch. I couldn' t believe that Rove et al thought this was a brilliant idea. Bush of course, just reads whatever they shove in front of him. Dumb. m
The short answer is....do the opposite of whatever this administration does. They are wrong in almost everything they do. m
Come on Mackie, anybody can be a back seat driver. Don't you have anything of value to suggest? Typical.
____________________________________________________ I guess we can all be very thankful you aren't in authority.
Why should I? No one else does? After all these years of listening to the right wing whackos spew and slander and lie and spin and twist and shout and polemicize and polarize, and never offer anything but negative, destructive crap...the tone has been established. They've made it clear there is no interest in honest discussion, rational argument, reasoned debate. It is all about ideology. So, let me act as a mirror. m
well now that you've described the left, I can understand why you haven't anything constructive to offer.
If your agenda is massively unpopular with voters, as the liberal agenda is, your only hope is to lie about everything. Clinton was good at it, Gore not so convincing, we've yet to see quite how good a liar Kerry is, but after that Imus performance, I think it's safe to say he's no Clinton. Of course, Kerry could prove me wrong and come out of the closet and run on a platform of steeply hgher taxes to fund failed government programs, surrender the fight against terrorism, trade barriers that will raise prices to consumers and gay marriage.
