Zero. Half of us don't pay income tax. A big chunk of those voters are getting a "rebate" on taxes they don't pay, much like going into an automobile dealership and getting a rebate on a car without buying it. You can bet that virtually none of this group will "get it" - they were happy with their free lunch, but now they are getting paid to eat it. Many of the ~50% who do pay some income tax get more aid from the government than they pay for, and they are not interested in "getting it" either. The democrats are in power, and the worse things get, the more people who are unemployed, the bigger the welfare rolls are, the more wealth is redistributed, the more votes they get. So the democrats aren't interested in "getting it" either. Then there's the republicans. They know they won't win elections by threatening to cut government spending. Their only hope of squeezing out some votes is by telling everybody they are in favor of only some more government, not a lot like the democrats. So they aren't going to "get it" either.

you dont need a 100 million people to hit the streets, the vietnam protest never had more the 500,000 at any one time. or the civil rights protest. 1,000,000 would scare them to death
