For that matter, Christians are still supposed to be apologizing for the Crusades, although for the life of me I have no idea why. Maybe because they tried to do what we should be doing, oppose muslim aggression.

We didn't invade Iraq for the sake of Hussein's "people". We invaded because Bush Jr wanted to go after Hussein for threatening to assisinate Bush Sr. And there was nothing he could do about it until after he got elected in 2000.

 

You are claiming that we invade every two bit dictatorship that threatens to harm U.S politicians now. In that case I can name a couple dozen countries that we are due to invade. Invading Iraq had nothing to do with threats to Bush Sr. - you got to be a pretty loopy leftist to make that type of absurd assertion. You would be better off claiming that we did it oil - except for the fact that no US companies got the oil contracts.
