I believe the Democrats need to fine a moderate white male with no political baggage to run for President in 2020 if they want to win. Perhaps a governor of some state. The individual would need a solid track record as a successful administrator while still pushing progressive issues (at least ones of interest to voters - public healthcare, raising minimum wage, other domestic issues, etc.). The candidate would need to be able to absorb the typical Trump attacks and hit back at Trump's failures.

With trump only winning the ec by 80000 votes and losing support since the standards doesn't need to be that high.

Admittedly I didn't read that long ass article but in the real world since trump has been elected dems have flipped over 40 seats from red to blue and republicans have flipped around 4 from blue to red.

  4. They will all get a chance to bask in the glory of people thinking they might be president. Biden and Hillary will also take full advantage of that.

And then you have the likes of Kasich and a couple others that need to play with the idea of challenging trump in the primary.

Once you get past the midterms, then the next stop on the bus is Crazy Season, and things will get, well, crazy.

Cory Booker, Cuomo, and Poco are all predicatble loonies who want to be the main act in the circus.

Imagine some of those clowns- Kamela Harris included- as Commander In Chief. But, hey, maybe they will just do away with the military and ICE to keep things simple and multicultural.

If you look state by state there are about 30 seats in state legislatures that have flipped from Democratic to Republican since Trump took office. This number is less than the 50 or so seats that have flipped from Republican to Democratic. So effectively the Democrats are at least 20 seats ahead in flipping seats.

    Couple of examples...

Republicans flip Senate seat, retain House seat in special elections

    Republicans Snag Mass. Senate Seat

John Kasich is a RINO liberal and having an R beside his name does not make him a conservative in anyway, shape or form! The reason President Trump is having a hard time enacting his policies is because too many riff raff RINO liberals stand in his way. A number of them have chosen retirement over running again. Good choice! I will vote against every one of these guys because they are worst than the extreme liberal Democrats! Extreme liberal Democrats actually, tell you what they stand for! You know you are getting an extreme liberal Democrat if you decide to vote for one! RINOs act like they are conservative, talk like a conservative until, they get into office. Then, their true liberal colors come out for all to see!
