Good thing we don't lock bad kids down in juvenile detention centers. They'd all kill themselves.

Look at the triggered lefties. All reacting to my use of anecdotal evidence.... and it is true. How many times have you all brought up stories about someone suffering from Covid as part of your argumentation. You know who you are....

Reality is, to be just and fair as a society...all the harms must be weighed before you lockdown. I happen to agree shutting down when hospital beds are threatened can be a valid reason...for a two to three weeks may be wise. Beyond that you have to weigh the harm to kids and the healthy as well before you continue or start a lockdown.

There's no lockdowns like the initial one...

Now its just restrictions / measures.

Wear your face mask, social distancing and wash hands until you get your two shots of vaccination.

wrb... do me the favor to either cease blocking me or cease commenting after my posts.

I see your name but not your comment... its ridiculous.

So I checked by going incognito.
We are in lockdown in CA... from just about Sunday night.
Which is why I have been so negative about Newsom in particular and lockdowns in general.
If the Bay area has a hospital be shortage... fine..
But San Diego does not have a hospital bed shortage.

The Governor did it any data showing why... at least not in the articles I read.
And he was just overruled by our Supreme Court for doing that to Churches.

The mayor in San Diego said he was closing down playgrounds and outdoor dining with not data to support his lockdown.

California provides complete COVID data on deaths, hospitalizations, beds, cases, etc. by County, Hospitals, metros. etc.

You can easily go look up the data. There is plenty of data to support the lockdowns in California.

Lockdown to keep them in or to keep them out ?

Those in danger would be the adult employees of the detention center...less danger for the juveniles unless they have underlying medical conditions.

This is my point with you.
I said data supporting his lockdown in San Diego...
    and his particular choices.

We have data regarding Covid in San Diego... I have presented it to you many times.

    1. What about the harm being caused to children by the shutdown?
    2. Harm being done to peoples lives.
    Restaurant owners and workers
    Hair people
all the other businesses and lives.

Then are these measures properly tailored to the harms?

Are kid getting sick in playgrounds? etc.

Responses to Covid should be properly tailored to avoid overall harm.
(which includes of course harm done by covid to poeples health and lives plus harm done the the govts response.)
