My brother works on the front lines as a Doctor in South Dakota...he just finish 3 consecutive days of work with a total of 4 hours of sleep. His hospital is at over-capacity. Girlfriend works as an ICU nurse here in Québec...I haven't seen here in person for a few weeks. Yesterday she held the hands of two people that died without the families...a 48 year old and 54 year old. Her hospital is not at over-capacity but they are seeing more patients being hospitalized that are not elderly. I posted a graph here at ET about a month ago showing the age of those being hospitalized has been declining in the age group. Not sure what's more funny...the classic movie scene pretending to sing about Covid-19 or Trump spreading more misinformation about the election at today's Pandemic briefing. wrbtrader
And when I read that, the words scrambled in my head and came out to something like..."You convinced me that your opinion is as useful as an asshole right here." lol! Inspired by Tarantino...
2nd H.S kid whose mom my wife's knows who tried to kill himself over lockdown. Sadly this one was successful. I don't like using anecdotal arguments... but this is what we have been getting from pro lockdown types.
After failing with Gnus, Jem is now using teen suicide his wife has heard of to try and get people to give him love for his idiotic ideas. He is bound for hell.
The suicide rate has been rising for years in the U.S. increasing 57% form 2007 to 2018 among young people. The rate of increase in suicides in the U.S. slowed in the U.S. during 2020. It's hard to claim COVID lockdowns increased suicides based on the evidence --- in fact it slowed the rising suicide rate in the U.S.
