    We are.
This is one of the reasons I am so firmly against GWbs bullshit.
I have been watching it fail for months.
We know where the Covid is... but our Govt refuses to
    directly respond to the problem

Instead he does things like close beaches, playgrounds and even outdoor eating..
where there is no evidence of spread.

    its moronic x 20.

If you don't have enough medical staff to man your hospitals then it is time to lock everything down. Anyone with minimal common sense understands this.

Unfortunately... I agree we do have to lock down where there is a lack of hospital space. That is the only legit time for a lock down. But it should be customized to local area conditions.

The time to have smarter was months ago... starting 3 weeks after the first lockdown began.

We should have isolated the high risk...
so that we would not be in this position now... instead of having these insane lockdowns of the the healthy which have clearly failed.

that's not how exponential growth works. You don't get to hindsight it and say, "oh, we've reached capacity and must lock down now, shame for the patients we'll have to triage"

  5. How many times must you be corrected? Covid contagion has never come near exponential growth. If it had the entire population would have been infected months ago. It's a stretch to say the rate of infection has been rapid let alone exponential. It's taking hundreds of thousands of false positives just to get to the over hyped number we have now. At the moment hospitals are putting Covid patients in beds just for revenue. Most people could recover at home

Hindsight? It might be for you...

But its not hindsight for me when I have been saying Isolate the high risk for months...

I posted a study here months ago showing that viruses spread much more easily in cooler drier air and the spread less easily in warmer more humid air.

I thought to myself to Covid is like these other viruses... then we all may be kidding ourselves about what works.

So I thought to myself... then we damn well better start isolating the risk the way we have kept it out of nursing homes. (not perfectly but well)

Which is why almost everyday... 5 times a day I have been saying isolate the high risk.
