SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Reflecting the third straight day of significant losses on Wall Street, Asian stocks dropped in early trading Friday. Japan's Nikkei 225 fell 1.2%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 dropped 1.49%, South Korea's Kospi lost 0.81% and New Zealand's NZSX-50 was down 1.09%.

  2. No **** the US markets have in the crapper

  3. Excellent! Short term opportunities will present themselves with increasing frequency.

Long term farming will create enormous wealth for those who are diligent and patient but most importantly... focused.

I smell fear and profit on the winds of change. The very same winds that have scattered and redistributed fortunes since the beginning of time.

Even before the dawn of man.

  4. The markets usually follow each other. A big US move will drag Asia. Similarly a consistent Asian move will shift Europe and most morning gaps on the US market will follow from a European market move.

    Globalization in action.

I prefer the uncorrelated good old days when the local traders didn't even know where America was.
